Was looking for a nice spring break trip in the mountains because my children had never seen the mountains. The cabin was located on a steep, but paved road. The cabin was clean, but several things inside we not quite up to par. For example- the shower downstairs did not get warmer than lukewarm. So, I went upstairs to shower and that shower's showerhead was malfunctioning. It was spraying water everywhere. My husband had to fix it so we could all shower. The beds were both extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were beyond flat which made sleeping not ideal. The cabin was located just outside of town, which was nice.
The cabin was nice and mostly as we expected. The location is super remote and literally on the top of a mountain. It snowed on the day of our arrival which made driving up to the cabin an absolute nightmare. Our car (4wd) got stranded on the side of the road about a mile and a half from the cabin. It took a 45 minute walk the next morning to get our vehicle out and then it was an extremely difficult drive to the top to get to the cabin. Internet and cell service at the cabin barely worked. I'd be careful about booking this location during winter months when weather can be unpredictable.
This cabin had everything we needed and more! Very peaceful and relaxing. The kids enjoyed the game room and the hot tub was a hit as well. Check in and out was very simple. Would most certainly rent this cabin again!
