There were several things wrong with the property. This is one of the reasons why I do not like dealing with management companies as they do not care like the owner would/should care.
Yes, the property was beautiful in its decor, wood, size, location and amenities.
However, I do think that having a 6 pm check in is not cool. Considering there is no discount for the first night, why is the price full price when you cannot check in (guaranteed) by 6 pm.
2. 2 of the 3 microwaves did not work
3. 1 of the 3 refrigerators did not work
4. 1 of the bedrooms air conditioning did not work and their bathroom toilet sink was broken
5. The lights on the waterfall and the waterfall itself did not work.
6. The outside door to the pool room does not close properly/function properly.
7. We knew in advance that the theater room would not work.
8. The flooring will eventually need to be redone as there are tons of gaps all over the floor for dirt and bugs to collect ...
9. And LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THERE WERE ROACHES everywhere. Not like an invasion but enough that EVERYONE complained! That was terribly embarrassing and disgusting. UGH!
No, we did not call management during any of this as we had people to attend to, etc. Management should have ensured that all of the above was handled before we arrived. But, once again, that is the issue with having management companies handle your home ... there is no TLC. It is all to automatic and rote.
