The house set up was as advertised and the neighborhood is beautiful. HOWEVER, the house is not well maintained/cared for. In our initial welcome/check-in message, we were informed that there were “scuffs on some of the walls and wear from a large college group.” Upon check in, we had several additional concerns that we reported including:large scuffs throughout every room of the house,missing smoke detectors, broken lock on the back door that could not be secured, active leaks under the kitchen and one bathroom sink, broken piece on shuffle board table and no wax to make it usable,broken TV remote,missing light/fan remote in bunk bed room (could not be turned on),and a shot glass in the pool.We were contacted by the management company and told that someone would come out the day after the holiday. Upon check-out four days later, they had still not been to the house. When inquired about, we were told that it was “due to the holiday.” Overall, we were extremely disappointed in the state of the home and response received regarding the concerns.

Family Getaway

The house was great for our family of 4. The location provides easy access to all of the things to do in the Sevierville and Pigeon Forge area. We had an issue with our coffee maker when we first arrived and the host immediately ordered a new one and we had it the next day. Communication was great and getting access to the house was very easy based on the instructions provided.

This house needs some TLC

We rented this property for a week over the Christmas holidays. Although the check-in process went well, we soon became disappointed with our decision to rent the unit. The house appeared to be unclean. I believe this was due, in part, to the flat paint used on the walls, doors, trim, and baseboards. These surfaces are not washable and dirt stains from workers and/or previous guests are evident throughout the house. In addition, overhead fans in at least 3 of the bedrooms didn’t work. Two of them didn’t turn on at all, and while one bedroom fan seemed to work at first, it would turn itself off in the middle of the night and the fan light would then turn on. Since we were traveling during Christmas week and knew we would be spending a considerable amount of time in the unit, renting a cabin with a movie room was important to us. However, when we attempted to watch our first movie a few days into our stay, we found that the TV in the movie room didn’t work. Our techy son-in-law tried to remedy this with no luck. Also, the molding around the seating platform was loose and fell off. In addition, the main coffee pot did not work. I did e-mail or host on December 24th to report the problems with the house, but I sent the e-mail to a reply-only account by accident. This was totally my fault. A few weeks after returning home, I e-mailed the host and sent pictures of the problem areas. I asked for a partial refund of the 6000 we paid. He didn’t respond to the request

Amazing Cabin for the whole Family!

This cabin is beautiful, clean, & has ALL of the amenities you would ever need! The location is perfect! We ended up staying at the cabin instead of going out because there was so much to do there! The host, Samuel, was wonderful. He gave very detailed instructions, was always available to answer questions, and gave great recommendations. We would love to return to this cabin or another one of Samuel’s some day.

The Good and the Bad

The Good. We stayed at this beautiful home for our daughter's wedding. Whole family! Very clean and comfortable stay. Great kitchen. My grandkids loved the pool and grandpa loved the jacuzzi. Beds were very nice. Beautiful sunsets through the trees. Ample parking and close to everything. The Bad. We booked the property and I reached out to say hello to the host. No response. A week before we were to arrive, I reached out twice to the host with a few questions. No response. I contacted VRBO to verify that this was a legitimate rental. They advised that I would receive communication 24 hours before arrival and I did. First note: The address I just received in the welcome letter 24 hours before arrival was different than the address given after I booked. I had to change a delivery for the wedding and contact the hair and make-up person because we had given them a wrong address. We arrived and the house was beautiful but the fireplace didn't work. The rules state that the fireplace will be working in October - spring. I thought maybe they forgot to turn it back on. I reached out to the host. No response. Next morning, no hot water in my bedroom shower and the coffee pot was not working. I reached out to the host and no response. At this point, I reached out to VRBO and after an hour long conversation, they reached out to the host to contact me. The host finally did reach out and was very responsive during the rest of our stay. This host needs better communication.

Great location!

Our check in process was a bit bumpy and the house is clearly a brand new build - as in still construction debris on the ground outside and stickers on the inside of the windows. The house was very nice and clean and in a great location. We had a wonderful time and especially loved the indoor pool sjnce it rained the whole time we were there.

The cabin was beautiful and clean the amenities were nice . I enjoyed it so much it didn’t have a grill that was the only issue but other than that it was perfect . You will love it book it ! Also Samuel was a great host very responsive

We has a work assignment in the area and this place was close and perfect for the 4 of us. It’s new, the hosts were easy to work with and quickly addressed any questions that arose.
