The house was not ready at 4:00 check in. The grass wasn’t mowed (we had a dog) this was not good for walking him. The house was dusty and chips/crumbs were on one of the nightstands , cop webs in the large windows and on porch railings. Porch needs sweeping. Upstairs French doors do not lock. Missing light bulbs in lamps downstairs. I had to take bulbs out of the rooms we were not using. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain well. The hanging lights on front porch only had one bulb working And master bathroom shower was dirty . We definitely did not get what we paid for !

Great place to stay. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for guest. Pet friendly was a definite plus for our family.I wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities that the cabin had to offer.

Excellent Cabin

The cabin was absolutely beautiful with so many things to do. The kids loved all the games and we all enjoyed the movie theater. I would recommend this cabin to all ages. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Family getaway

Close enough to drive to town in a jiffy yet far enough to feel part of the smokies. Cell phone service is sketchy at best at this location. So be ready for a electronics free vacation (until you need to run into town)

.The cabin has a movie room that is great if you like watching DVDs. If you want the smart capabilities to work, you are out of luck
no wifi. We called everyday about the wifi, lots of lip service was given. “We put a ticket in, someone will be out there today to look at it, it is not the cabin, it is the service provider. ” We spoke to the people staying in the cabin beside us with the same service provider (yes, we checked) and guess what, they had wifi. Glad that I didn’t have an emergency at work and needed the wifi for my laptop because I would have been out of luck. On to the next issue
 cleanliness. I am not one of those people that expect a place that is rented out year around to be super clean. There is going to be daily wear and tear. However, I do expect a clean shower, clean bed sheets and cobwebs to be removed. The shower on the main floor was not clean, the beds sheets on the top floor had what appeared to be Cheeto dust on them. Cobwebs everywhere, to many places to list. The couch downstairs had open holes in it. More than your normal wear and tear. The hot tub lacked chemicals and had a strange odor coming from it. Now it is hard to keep the levels in a hot tub just perfect due to how hot the water stays, especially in the summer, but when we arrived, the chlorine floater was setting outside of the hot tub with what was left of a small chlorine tablet. I know what you are thinking, “chlorine can just be put in the hot tub,” yes, but that is

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and close to area attractions with a short 5 minute drive. We were notified a couple hours before checking in that the projector in the movie theater room was broken(big reason why we choose this cabin having 4 kids). Once we arrived at the office before checking in to cabin they informed us that the part had just arrived and they would send maintenance out to fix the projector. The issue was revolved thankfully after 4 hrs of us checking in. The part was shipped as we were told , knowing there was a possibility that we wouldn’t be able to use the movie room seems like we would have been notified. The cabin’s cleanliness was good but could have used a little more attention. Side of steps had dog hair/dirt up the side from top to bottom, only center of steps were swept obviously. The black stone grill was not working, maintenance came out to fix with new part, tried using after new part was replaced and it caught on fire. Maintenance was unable to replace with a new one during our stay. Hot tub filter looks like it has never been changed(we didn’t use it). Blankets in the cabin smelled bad and had dog hair on them, guess they forgot to wash them so we did upon our arrival. Dirty socks were in the Movie Theater room. Cobwebs throughout the inside of cabins. Rugs looked as if they had not been vacuumed and food crumbs on kitchen floor. For the price you pay for cleaning fee, I expect to walk into a unit that I don’t feel as if I need to clean before using

Great cabin!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at “The Bear Cubs” with Fireside Chalets. We had 3 families, all with kids & there was always fun and exciting things happening at the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub & movie theater most! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Good location, Property Not clean

Property lacks cleaning, rugs in master bedroom are white and were dirty upon arrival. Dishwasher had food stuck in drain which created foul smell in kitchen. Maintenance came and cleaned dishwasher, we tried to use, smell and food were still stuck. Internet is spotty and watching TV was difficult. For a cabin this size, there should be more towels, washcloths and dish towels. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and the outside lights were very nice. I believe if you added a few items and made sure it was cleaned properly it would be so much better. Also, all mattresses should be replaced.

Excellent Cabin

We enjoyed the cabin very much! Convenient location. Lots of room for our family. Everyone enjoyed the theater (we brought our own movies, some are provided but some of theirs are missing). It was nice to have a private theater! The kids loved all the arcade games and pool table. The master shower is a nice walk-in with 2 shower heads. The cabin was ready a little early so some of us that were already in town got to get settled before 4pm. (If you are in the main king bedroom you may or may not like the hum of the hot tub all night.)

Great cabin

We went with our family and friends. Between the two families we had 7 kids. We were so nicely spaced out that we didn’t feel on top of each other. The kids enjoyed the movie room the most. We had a couple issues with it raining in through the door upstairs and the dishwasher not draining. Both problems were looked at and resolved quickly. Would stay here again.

The cabin was beautiful!!!!

Renting was easy. The cleaning company needs to pay more attention to details while cleaning. A box was left in a closet that I didn't like having to hide from my kids. Only half rolls of tp in 2 of the 3 bathrooms. The rug in front of the side door had old poop under it. We washed the rug and cleaned the spot as best we could with what was in the cabin. The best parts was the kids could of stayed in the cabin and would of enjoyed the trip. The game room and cinema was great. Bring DVD with you.

Beautiful overall, need attention to details

This property is beautiful as a whole, and we enjoyed our stay. There were little details that could have used more attention, however. The remote in the theater had to be replaced in order for us to watch movies, the hot tub had to be cleaned before we could use it, master bath towels had many stains, propane tanks in the outdoor kitchen ran out during our third use, and the kitchen pots and pans were less than desirable. That being said, the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The property layout is perfect. And, the proximity to activities is wonderful. Overall, we were pleased.

Weekend Getaway

My small family used this cabin for a short trip. It was easy to locate and had beautiful scenery. Was very close to Pigeon Forge which was where we spent our weekend. Would definitely recommend this location for long stays as it had plenty of amenities. The only thing I could mention is it may be hard to access in winter with snow. As the road to cabin was a little steep but not unmanageable by any means.

Perfect vacation home

Perfect location just a few minutes from pigeon forge but super close to everything. The home is very inviting with everything your family will need for your stay. The beds were really comfortable & the game room was definitely a bonus. We enjoyed every night by the fire & cooking on the big outdoor kitchen. Check in was a breeze & the company that handles it was very helpful walking us through the check in process. We will 100% be back next year

Beautiful Chalet

Beautiful Chalet and a great location. "If we don't know we can't fix it" so here are a list of frustrating experiences in the chalet: The master bed is Terrible! A new mattress is needed asap. The ceiling fan in the master bedrooms only speed is low and you can't feel the movement of air at all. There is only 1 tiny (1 egg) skillet in the kitchen. The can opener doesn't work. The towels had stains on them & the master bed sheets had blood stains on them. (Stains are better than fresh but still nasty) The master shower has mold in the seams that could use some bleach.

We had an amazing time and loved the cabin. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Lots of room and extras including an amazing movie theater room, hot tub, arcade games, and outdoor kitchen.

Comfy Cabin, would return again.

We loved arriving to the Christmas lights and decor in the cabin. Very welcoming. The location is great. You can pop into town in 5 minutes. We would return to the cabin. I believe they should add a few kitchen utensils/cookware as the ones there are aged or missing. Had to get creative to cook. (Need knife block, new pots and pans, and a can opener). We loved the space and use of the cabin. The movie theater was a hit. For the rate charged, nicer bath linens would be appreciated. The towels are as thin as a kitchen rag. Overall we were pleased.
