This place has a lot going for it. It's got good space for lots of people, it's close enough to town for convenience while also feeling secluded, the game room is well-equipped, and the theater, gym, and pool house are nice touches and amenities you don't find everywhere. The house was clean, and the welcome basket of snacks and coffee was a nice touch. If you're planning to fish in the pond or enjoy the community firepit, you either have to drive down or walk down a steep path, and we did not have any luck catching fish - not even a nibble (but maybe the wrong season?). Something I wish had been better for the price of this rental is our level of comfort. The couch and chairs have a low back or no cushion (wooden stools). The beds are metal and/or slatted platforms with thin, hard mattresses and thin pillows and thin sheets with no mattress pads. Two of the showers are small, corner inserts (like you'd find in an RV), and the water is very hot, so be careful to test before getting in. The gas fireplace is lovely, except the timer loudly ticks down. Overall, we had a fine experience here. I do recommend this rental, depending on your priorities and needs.
