This was our second time staying in this cabin, our first being mid November and this last one a weekend in January. We knew going in to expect for snow, and being from Western NC we are used to driving the mountain roads in all kinds of weather. Granted we didn't plan for over a foot of snow, but it was absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. I personally love the huge windows, I could and have sat in front of them for hours looking at the birds and mountains. The screened in porch is nice for warmer days, but even on not so pleasant days you can still sit and enjoy the view while staying inside where it's warm. The cabin is very well stocked, including a tea kettle and extra blankets which I personally love. Nothing beats curling up in front of the huge windows with a book and cup of hot tea.
Both times we have made plans to return before even leaving, I do believe out next trip will include our kids.
The host are wonderful to communicate with and very fast to respond, as well. We can't wait to be back.
