Immagine thisâŠ. You drive 14 hrs to spend a few days in cabin nestled in the Smokie Mountains. The host send a message a couple hours from arriving that the weather that hit may be a problem, â there is 8â of snow!! â not 8 feet, not 4 feet, not 1 foot, 8 in. . I respond im good. Host suggests i pospone my arrival a couple days, i respond im going to the cabin. Host responds the roads are impassable. We arrive no problem. Cabin has no bedding, we use a throw for quilt, toilet overflows due to frozen sewer pipe, end up with no running water due to frozen pipe, hot tub does not work. Host tells me after having to use bathroom for # 1 & 2 next morning outside in 3 deg. Weather to go get a hotel for 2-3 days. Never a sypathtic reply or sorry. I ask if we can check the other cabin we paid for even if dirty we will stay there. The coded door lock does not work to enter, its well used filthy and smells but not completely froze up at all. This host tries to blame me for making it to the cabins during a small amount of snow in witch we came and went, drove all over the smokies at will. Host never owns the issues were the cabins not occupiable, and that it was her responsibility to have them ready. This narcissist gas lighted as well as deflected responsibility never once appologizing. Dr. Phil would have a field day with this host. Grow up take responsibilty when you or your property is at fault. Dont take someones then tell them to get a hotel! Give a refund, VS GREED.
