The entire process from booking, arrival and departure was super easy. The staff always answered the phones and helped with any issues or questions we had. The house was much larger than the pictures showed which was wonderful! My kids had a great time in the game room and the hot tub which they empty and clean after each rental stay!! The mattresses in each room were a little rough feeling but everything was very clean! I will be staying again at this property or other properties that they offer :)

The house was large and comfortable for all of us. The hot tub was nice and maintained, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make a few meals. Everything worked as needed. My only concern was the age of the pool tab as one side of the felt is ripped. Otherwise this house was awesome and I look forward to visiting again. Also, the host was very quick on any concerns and made sure we settled in nicely. Overall five star stay.

Family vacation

Over all the stay was fantastic. The house was clean and very nice. The balcony was wonderful to drink coffee on in the morning and listen to the sounds of nature. The microwave and a downstairs TV did not work. We reported this and a new microwave and TV was installed.The arcade game and the basketball game did not work and the grill is rusted out and needs to be replaced for safety.

Summertime fun

House was nice and close to Dollywood. Cleaning could have been better in the bathrooms and floor could have been cleaner but overall the kids enjoyed the arcade (my 5 year old referral) and house was plenty big enough for 10 people. Need to have better instructions for the TVs as 2 we could never get any stations.

Nice property, plenty of room for families or large group

Our family of 7 adults enjoyed our stay. The property was very spacious and comfortable. The desciption is accurate. The location is good, the views from the house are limited, but within the neighborhood are very nice. The game room equipment is a worn and needs updating. We expected the kitchen to better stocked, there were no coffee filters. The outdoor grill needs to be replaced, it is rusted. Overall nice stay, but with a few improvements, it could have been a 5 star experience.

Spring break stay

We enjoyed using this house as a home for spring break. There were four adults and four children and there is plenty of space. This is a 4 bedroom home and sleeps 10 comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The toilets flush sluggishly and it looks like someone had reported septic problems before in a review. There is a strong smell of cat as soon as you’re in the neighborhood. There are feral cats all over and I’m not sure if the cat owe smell is coming from outside or if there have been cats indoor before. The trash policy is not very user friendly. Beware that if you use more than four trash bags and are staying less than one week, it will be your responsibility to drive the trash 20 mins without any traffic to the office in Pigeon Forge. There are no couch throws and only two warm blankets for all 7 beds total. Bring your own pillows and beach towels for hot tub because there are four towels provided per full bathroom. No electric kitchen appliances such as griddle, crock pot, baking pan, but there is one small cooking sheet and a pizza pan. Nice comfortable neighborhood, close to town. Game room pictures are great. Pool table, air hockey table are in disrepair. Furniture needs to be updated. The upstairs furniture has been reviewed for being broken since 2022. The basement furniture is cloth and quite wore out. Internet works great. Again, the smell of cat is quite strong, especially in the basement.

Family Vacation

We had a very enjoyable stay with our children and grandchildren. One of our daughters said it was the best place we had stayed because of the hot tub and game room. We also enjoyed the free tickets to local amenities. We would have stayed longer had our vacation time permitted and we would definitely like to stay again.

Great house for extended family or large groups

This house is great over all and large spaces for large groups. 2 large living rooms and great game room. The house is up on a large mountain side so be prepared for that. Also there was no sauna as listed in the pictures and description which was a huge bummer as that was a major factor in my booking. Another thing is there is nothing but the bare minimum for kitchen and bathroom stuff. There are no spices at all, or even salt or pepper. No hand soap for the kitchen, only 2 dishwasher tablets for 9 people and 4 nights. We had to go buy a dish scrubber as well as the other things listed. Bring shampoo/ soap as well.

Great getaway

House was great. Plenty of room for our group. The door code we received did not work when we got there. Had to make a phone call and got a new code that got us in. The game room area was fun but some of the equipment was outdated and some stuff missing. We never did get the sauna to work but made the best of it anyway. House was super clean. Overall we enjoyed it and would stay again

Thanksgiving Family Trip 2023

Excellent location to all of the activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 kids to sleep comfortably and not feel crowded. We loved the hot tub and the arcade and pool table was a favorite with both adults and kids. We were disappointed that the sauna didn’t work, there were no balls for the foosball table and the basketballs were all flat so it made it not as fun to play. The overall space of the game room was a really nice add. The reason we gave it a 4 and not a 5 was be because those items were not useable and because the pillows in all of the beds were flat and uncomfortable. Updating those things would make this a 5 start stay. The Smart TVs anc the electric fireplaces were a nice benefit as well.

Saddleback Retreat met expectations.

Overall, the property met expectations as advertised online with minor issues not being more than one would expect from a property that is > 20 years old, with the comfort level of bunk beds being what one would expect for bunk beds, etc. The upstairs and downstairs dens, the kitchen, the scenic upper back deck and especially the game room exceeded expectations and was a catalyst for family members spending quality time together.

Awesome space

Plenty of space for everyone. Game room nice. Hot tub AWESOME!!!! Limited parking. Very close to downtown Sevierville. Only minutes away from Tanger Outlets. Most definitely will rent again for girls weekend.

Great Vacation Rental

This house is huge with a great game room for kids and teens. Was it perfect, no, but overall the home was great in a beautiful neighborhood. Unfortunately, we had to buy a new propane gas tank for the grill but it still didn't work. There were some things that need to be fixed: broken cabinet door, broken recliner on the upstairs couch, and ice maker/water dispenser did not work well in the kitchen. I made the property manager aware right away of our issues, so hopefully some of these things will be fixed for future guests. The neighborhood pool was lovely! We swam every day. The house is off the main roads of Sevierville, but still close to town with Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg not too far away - lots to do in the area.
