The experience of getting to the cabin was terrifying and when booking the location I was not made aware of how hard it was to get to. The cabin was not the cleanest I have seen with cobwebs, dead bugs throughout the house, the shower upstairs was very dirty and had to be plunged to drained as well as the hot tub being dirty. The place was advertised with pictures as having a air hockey table which was not there. The arcade table was not working properly. The view with the hammock was beautiful.
Unsure if you can match some of the beautiful nature seen from this cabin. My wife and I had a weekend getaway and enjoyed waking up to the sunrise over the distant mountains. Enjoying some relaxation in the hot tub with the mountain backdrop was as equally enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!
We so enjoyed our stay at Eagleâs View. The cabin size, air hockey table, and hot tub made for a perfect weekend getaway. The drive up to the cabin was intimidating especially the first few times but the view and seclusion of the cabin made it so worth it! Once you drive up and down a few times, itâs a breeze. We had a Toyota RAV4 that chugged right up the mountain. Overall we had such a great stay and look forward to booking again with Eagles View in the future!
Amazing views! Our stay was in mid September and we had beautiful weather. The property owner, Kendall, is on top of it. He had excellent communication with us, which we appreciated immensely. One appliance had some technical issues, but communication with the owner was easy.
This is a beautiful area to just soak up the mountains. Close enough to all the attractions and far enough away to have space from the crowds. The driveway itself was easy after the first few times up and down. However, NOTHING compared to the upper part of Bluff Mountain Road, which we did when we first arrived.
There are cabins on each side, but far enough that you don't feel on top of each other at all and some trees in between. The deck off the living room was private. We like seclusion and quiet, this was great in September.
This was a relaxing stay just laying in the hammock and soaking up the views. The scenery changes daily depending on the weather. Must go to Douglas Lake.
Would love to come back someday!
We had a wonderful time and the view was breath taking. The cabin was clean, well kept, and a perfect romantic getaway. While we brought plenty to supplement, almost every thing needed was provided. My only caution for others is your vehicle. Your full lenght 4x4 extended truck might seem like the best choice, but the roads are very narrow and hairpin turns are tight.
My wife and I just wanted to get out of the house for a few days (Thanks COVID) but we didn't really want to be around other people. This place was great, nice and cozy. We will certainly be back!
Mountain views were awesome . But landscaping around deck and hot tub needs to be trimmed, thistle bush growing up to hand rail. Area could use some attention. The cabin next door used our turn around spot by propane tank as a parking spot could use parking signs for cabins. Your other cabin beside us was called Above All VRBO # 1606424 just to let you know. Thanks did enjoy our stay.
we had a great time at the cabin. we stayed for almost a week. the cabin has the best views. we have so many great pictures of the mountauns just from the balcony. the property was very quiet and gave us much needed rest. the cabin was also clean and had alot of supplies in the kitchen for us to cook when we wanted to eat in. we had our two kids ages 5 and 6, and they really liked the cabin too.
as far as the drive- it is a bit steep BUT after the 2nd or 3rd time it wasnt so bad. I am extremely scared of heights and I got used to it quickly. just don't drive fast and you'll be fine. we had a ford fusion and were able to do it.
if you have a chance to book this cabin for your vacation I highly recommend it. we'll be staying again for sure.
This property offers the best view of the smoky mountains, you gotta see it to believe it. Pictures dont do this cabin justice. Loved the cabin we picked, it had an incredible view no matter where we were at.
We had a great experience at Eagles View. The view itself makes the money worth it! Beautiful home, beautiful views. If we go back to Tennessee we will be returning here!
My husband and I stayed for a 2 night quick getaway. The view is absolutely spectacular! I can not say enough about how relaxing the hammock and hot tub were. Super convenient to town but private with just the one cabin off behind where you park.
I even contacted the owners later one evening in regards to Wifi and got an instant response. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much to Kendall & Leina for allowing us to stay!â€
We stayed here during the COVID-19 outbreak. The cabin owners kept in touch with us each day before our stay and worked with us the best that they could. The views of this property is amazing. Being able to wake up and look over downtown Pigeon Forge is great. We couldnât have been more satisfied. We had to stay at the cabin most of the time due to everything going on and let me tell you there is plenty to do there. As stated in other reviews I would not drive the road up to the cabin at night especially not for the first time. It is definitely straight up. But we will definitely rent this place again.
We enjoyed our stay at the Eagle's View cabin, a deserving cabin name as we had an eagle eye view from up top of the beautiful mountain scenery in the wrap around deck whether sitting or relaxing in the hot tub after a nice hike. The cabin's coziness suited our needs and the air hockey game kept our grandson mesmerized as he scored goal after goal against his opponents.......highly recommend it!
Like every other person said...the views are incredible! Worth every penny. Sitting in the hot tub watching it snow was magical! Location was close to downtown PF (10 mins) but away from crowds.
Things to note: The drive up is a little intimidating but not bad after you get used to it. It's plenty of space for 2 people but more would mean no privacy. The towels were smelly and ragged. Bed could use new linens. And the kitchen pans are falling apart. Master shower floor stained brown. They could use a refresher and it would be a 10/5 stars. Still a 5/5 because of the cute cabin, location, communication, and VIEWS! Watch the sunrise!
