The cabin was the right size for our group of 13 people. The cookware needs to be updated. There was a roof leak in the living room by the front porch window. There was also a leak under the sink when we ran the dishwasher. We did have some beara come by for a visit. Overall it was a decent cabin just needs some maintenance.
This is a beautiful, secluded home in the woods. It is great for large gatherings. The enclosed decks were a fantastic place to enjoy the nature that surrounds the house. It can sleep 9 privately, but has a loft and hide-a-bed that will sleep another 6. The water has an awful sulfur order so I would recommend bringing bottled water. We watched a bear saunter along the driveway which was fun. The property is about 30 minutes from Dollywood and 45 minutes to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.
Such a lovely place! Plenty of space for our group on a Girlâs Trip! Great communication! The place had everything we needed! The location was beautiful! Would highly recommend!
This will be a stay that will be talked about 30 years from now. This was the most disgusting cabin we have ever stayed in. It is in need of repairs, our guests wound up in a hotel because of the HORRIBLE Sulphur smell and disgusting water quality. We had to use bottle water to brush our teeth and make coffee. I have several pictures available to view. Cob webs everywhere. The pictures online do not accurately represent this cabin.
However!!! The property manager was responsive and very polite. Maintenance came out to the property and decided there was nothing that could be done. I could go on and on should anyone be interested or would like to see the pictures of this awful cabin.
Clean, had everything we needed. Trash bear box filled up, I texted that it needed emptied, it was taken care of that day.
Kids enjoyed the game room, as adults we enjoyed having space to spread out. Pool was within walking distance. Water has the smell of sulfur. I lived in a high sulfur area before, so I was familiar with it. House needs a whole house water filter to remove the sulfur smell. Overall we had a great time. Enjoyed seeing the bears and the secluded nature of the home.
Wewalkeddown to the pool
Twilight Ridge was a nice spot for a getaway with the family. The cabin has sole really nice spaces, but there is some room for them to continue to improve things.
Checkin was fine once I got the instructions, but I only ended up getting them by reaching out. They said an email would come, but it never did. The people I texted with were responsive and helpful though.
There were a bunch of new games (brand new) and some nice touches in the cabin like starter supplies for the bathrooms and kitchen. The home was very clean and we were pleasantly surprised with a high chair (traveling with 2 under 3).
The showers were quite slippery and are a bit of a fall hazard (traveling with 2 seniors as well). The kitchen deserves an update in general.
All in all, a solid visit and the community where this is seems very nice.
