If you are sensitive to smells, there is a pungent air freshner in the bathroom with the compost toilet. We had to leave early due to it. The compost toilet is a little odd and drops when you sit on it. Everyone has to sit to use it. The bunk beds need to be tightened and make a lot of noise. The stairs are round and a bit painful. I think this space is best for a couple due to the size.
This little place was so cute and so clean! All the amenities packed into one little place. Only thing was the toilet. Itâs basically a glorified bucket. So that doesnât have running water to it. But it works and is better than an outhouse! That and the squeaky bunkbed was the only issue. All in all a great little place to stay for a few nights and itâs very quiet.
My friend and I enjoyed our stay! Just outside of town, so peaceful and quiet in the woods. The fire pit was a great addition to our quiet evenings. Check in was super easy and the cabin had everything we needed for our trip.
The bed needs major upgrading as the metal bunks are extremely noisy and sway into the wall as you climb up if you're not careful. Other than that, exactly as described, quiet and enough amenities to live comfortably. And seeing the resident mama moose and twins was a big bonus. Thank you again!
What an excellent place to stay! The owners are great at communicating. Their guest instructions are easy to understand and explain the uniqueness of the property. My family loved the stay. It is small and that is great just. After three days of camping this was a welcome and cozy environment with a hot shower and comfortable beds. Many attributes and amenities to help you in the kitchen area. I would absolutely recommend this as a great place to stay in Seward.
This tiny house provides guests with a true remote Alaska experience in the forest. Close to Seward (3 miles) but away from populated areas, we enjoyed the privacy and remote feel. The hosts were responsive to our questions and requests. The top bunk bed can be difficult for older people to get up to but is great for younger adults and children. The composting toilet works well. We would stay there again.
We rented this place for a night to get up and charter fish early the next day. It had all of the basic amenities for âglampingâ and nestled in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed being able to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle for the holiday.
It is close to lost lake trailhead and we were able to walk there to do some hiking as well.
The campfire pit and chairs were great and it was nice to do a breakfast early the next morning inside.
Fun stay just north of Seward. Easy drive into town, out of the fray when there. Cozy for two. Might be a little crowded for three. Good communication with host. Fun.
My husband and I traveled down to Seward for a weekend getaway and found this adorable place to stay. Itâs just outside of the city but SUPER easy to get back to all the shops. VERY quiet and well thought out. It has everything anyone would need. Nice shower, TV, three places to sleep and great views of the foliage. Overall, we would stay here again. Sara was fantastic and all the info was on time and correct for check in and check out was a breeze and she responded quickly. This is the way to go if you are staying in Seward!
Nice tiny house close to Seward (just a small drive away from downtown). We really appreciated they accept pets for a small fee. Only downside was a smoker had been in the Apt before us, and our clothes/belongings smelled of smoke for two days after.
Wonderful, cozy little cabin in the woods away from all the tourism. I loved it and highly recommend
I so appreciate a place that allowed our 2 dogs. It is impossible to find a place that takes pets, yet it is spotless clean and neat. Easy, convenient parking. I only wished we had booked for more nights in this place only a few miles outside of Seward, yet totally in the woods away from everything. I loved it.
