BEST. FAMILY. VACATION. Where do I even begin? If you're scrolling through listings and wondering, âIs this the one?ââSTOP RIGHT HERE. This magical mountain retreat checked every box and then some. Our crew (two adults and two sugar-powered kiddos) had an unforgettable stay that weâre STILL talking about! The Playroom of Dreams:The kids walked in and immediately lost their mindsâin the best way possible. Air hockey tournaments got intense, ping pong battles ensued, and the arcade games transported us straight back to our '80s glory days. Hot Tub Heaven:After hiking and wrangling children, the bubbling hot tub under the stars was my personal reward. Bonus: the view of fog rolling in over the mountains while soaking? Chef's kiss. No regrets. Mountain Views Galore:Morning coffee on the deck with that panoramic mountain backdrop? Instant serenity. It felt like we were starring in a Tennessee postcard. Perfect for Families:This place was clearly designed by someone who gets family travel. The layout gave us space to spread out, the kitchen was fully stocked (including two coffee makersâwe used them daily), enough clean towels for the week only thing we needed was food.We would happily book a stay here again, we had a fantastic week. Thank you.
Our family of 10 enjoyed our week stay at this property. Plenty of space to accommodate and enough yard for a field day. We definitely enjoyed every bit of our stay.
My family and my sister's family stayed at this property while our 11 yo sons attended camp at the Tremont Institute. We had 4 adults and 5 kids (not counting our camping duo). The house was absolutely perfect! The kids loved the arcade games, air hockey / ping pong, board games, but especially the hot tub! We had everything we needed in the kitchen for the days we cooked at the cabins. The beds were comfortable and the living room and game room areas had numerous pillows and blankets for lounging. The cabin had 4 TVs so there were no arguments about what to watch. The owners left numerous books, many of which focused on the history of the park - specifically the Cades Cove area. The space surrounding the cabin was lovely - a large, shaded front yard and a spacious backyard. Bunnies raced through the yard frequently and fireflies were numerous in the evenings. The kids also found wild growing blackberries in the backyard. This was a perfect "home base" for our shared vacation. We look forward to returning again next year when the boys return to camp!
Secluded and private, spacious property inside and outside. Accommodating - had everything needed. Young grandchildren enjoyed game room and toys! Host very communicative and responsive. Quiet and nice retreat for nature lovers. Was truly able to relax!
Our stay here was excellent! Our purpose was to visit my mom. This place was very close to her house. It was very clean! Communication with the owner was very easy and quick to respond. There was plenty of room for all of us and there was plenty of games for the kids to enjoy. The adults enjoyed them too! I would definitely recommend this place. We are considering staying here again in the future!
Everything was Great!! just what we thought it would be!! beautiful property, surroundings, clean and nice house would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
We were in town for a baseball tournament and this was the perfect place for our family to stay together for the week! It is a beautiful, peaceful mountain setting!
We loved staying at Daniel's place! It was close enough to Knoxville to make it into town easily when we needed to, but right in nature which was what we were looking for. The place itself was plenty big enough for our group, and we will definitely stay again when we come back next year!
This house is awesome. Super clean home and property, with a firepit, brand new hottub, and all the amenities. I'm a builder, so I was impressed with the modern hardware like showerheads, faucets, etc. It's a relaxing and impressive place to spend a few days away!
Loved the property, perfect mountain views off front deck and hottub in rear. Nestled out of traffic and away from everyone but only a 30 minute drive to pigeon forge made traveling a breeze even if traffic in town was heavy.
We stayed here for a UT football weekend. It was very cozy and perfect for our early November stay. Hot tub was very nice and relaxing after traveling. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms, clean kitchen, cozy living room. Would recommend staying here. The only thing we didn't realize is that it is about 12 minutes off the main road and lots of windy roads to get there. It was about 40 minutes from UT's campus but would be very convenient if going to Pigeon Forge.
We were very pleased with this stay. Central location to start any excursion from with beautiful scenery on the drives. Very comfortable place to come back to and relax. The hosts provided plenty of games and activities but the best part was enjoying the mountain views with a cup of coffee in the morning.
