The staff were kind and efficient, and the location of this historic building is perfect for going to many key spots in Shanghai. However the room was certainly old, stains on the carpet and the bed was just boxsprings with a mattress topper on top. The bathroom was very nice with both a shower and tub, and the amenities were nice. This is an older building but it’s in a great location.

The place was very nice. Great view of the Bund and river. Easy walk to the Pedestrian street, and of course the Bund is right there. The staff is great...and great service that door. We had a wonderful stay there. Oh...and nice breakfast too.

Exceptional customer service. We were checking in late so I tried to ask for a room with good view and newer condition. The staff at reception gave us upgrade into executive suite with excellent lake view, beautiful room and plenty of space. Overall customer service is excellent.
