Great stay!

It was a great stay- beautiful property and would love to book again! It was really challenging to get onto the lake with the doc deflated but that’s such an easy fix! Everything else was wonderful!

Charming

Charming cottage with beautiful lake views. It’s clean and stocked with things like coffee and spices, so you don’t need to buy a lot of extra things just for a short stay. Lots of wildlife and convenient for both short and extensive walks/hikes.

Beautiful lakefront view

My husband and I wanted to get away and stay in a house with a lake view, and Amanda's place was perfect. The house is so close to the lake that you can be cozy inside and still get wonderful views of the lake. We saw beaver each evening at sunset, wood ducks, and great blue herons among other wildlife. The house was very clean and well-stocked, and we very much appreciated the multiple pairs of binoculars and bird books and magazines. We did many short hikes that are in the area, including the wonderful nature preserve that's across the street, visiting both Audubon centers that are in Sharon, and hiking at Kent Falls state park. One rainy day we enjoyed the beautiful drive from Salisbury to Great Barrington and Stockbridge, with stops at local bakeries and cafes. We ate very well the whole time, including a wonderful dinner at the White Hart Inn. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Amanda's place as a wonderful lakeside getaway any time of year!

Beautiful, cozy lakeside cabin

We had a beautiful, peaceful, cozy fall weekend at this cabin. The location is stunning next to the lake and across the street from hiking trails. The cabin had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. The only caveat is that it abuts a road with aggressive drivers so I did not feel comfortablet letting my dog off leash. Other than that, ideal. I will definitely be back!

Lovely Little Lakehouse

Our weekend stay at the lakehouse was absolutely wonderful! It was a quiet little escape but full of fun surprises. We loved sitting outside with the dogs and watching the wildlife around the lake. We also took several walks at the nature preserve, just across the street! We highly recommend this cozy little home away from home.

Wonderful home and location

We absolutely LOVED this house. It was so warm and inviting with everything you could possibly need! The decor was so comforting
 it was like walking through your favorite store. Everything made us smile. My husband was out in a kayak fishing every chance he could. We both spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful lake, hiking and visiting the surrounding towns.

Just what we were looking for...

My family had such a wonderful time at this cabin on the lake!! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. We spent our days out in the beautiful yard, fishing and kayaking! It was so relaxing and quiet out on the water. A small town secluded feel, but there was a CVS 5 minutes away for any necessities. The hosts have thought of everything and supply everything you may need. We can't wait to go back!

Peace and tranquility

We enjoyed our four day stay, us, our dog, the lake, blue herons, hawks, bald eagle and a bottle of wine! Very quiet and just what we needed! The cabin was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and more and the garden was lovely. Thanks for the welcome gifts, which were put to good use. The Millerton Inn is a great place for dinner, food was excellent and the evening perfect for dinner on the porch!

A perfect place to unwind

My husband and I stayed here with our two small dogs. It was a perfect New England lakeside getaway. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The grounds include gorgeous gardens, lake and mountain views, a nature preserve with hiking trails, and beautiful sunset views. The area is very private and quiet, perfect for sitting out in the morning with a coffee and listening to the birds. The owners were available if needed, and they included so many amenities and little touches around the place, they really thought of everything. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay to unwind with nature.

Peaceful Living on the Lake

Enjoyed the beauty of being right by the lake and the wonderful sounds of the birds and other wildlife. The sunsets were beautiful to watch from inside and outside the home. Paddleboards and kayaks were available for our use at anytime. Complete kitchen made mealtime enjoyable and the hosts thought of everything to help make our visit extra special.

Good Lake Getaway

Had a good experience at this rental. The owners were low contact and kept it simple. I went with a friend to enjoy the lake, eat, and check out the quaint nearby towns. House is small but it has everything you could want there and more. Nice private setting and everything clean and neat inside and out. Great place to unwind and enjoy a slow pace of life. There is enough to do around in a small town way, and some good eats in a 10-20 minute radius.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND BREAK

My husband and I spend 3 nights at this wonderful cottage in Sharon CT with our 2 small dogs. We had such a nice relaxing weekend. The cottage has everything you need including the most beautiful lake view. The area is full of hiking trails and other little towns to visit. We will definitely return soon again. I can’t wait to visit in spring or summer when all the local farmers markets are in full swing.

Very cute and has everything you need!

I was looking for a quiet getaway after busy holiday mom mode. They have Nespresso pods and other nice touches which were a pleasant surprise. The outdoor space is really cute. They have a picnic table and fire pit and even some art incorporated into the outdoor space! Highly recommend.

Reunion weekend

Being from the area and no longer owning a home in Sharon the cottage was perfect. It provided all the comforts of home. The setting right on Indian lake was relaxing. Wish the weather had been more cooperative however, being down in the area for a high school reunion left little time for activities. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and I definitely will be booking for future stays to visit relatives.

Well needed getaway

I can't say enough about the property and the property owner! The lake house was exactly as described and the "workings" of the property were well outlined in a binder. Despite rainy weather all 3 days, we had the most relaxing, comfortable stay. We brought along our little " Daisy" dog, so we did not do any sight seeing, but the view out the back was all we needed!!!! Close enough in CT, that we can't wait to book another weekend . Special thanks to our hosts, for the welcome note and gift, and for immediately responding to our silly questions!! It was hard going back home. Lovely lake house

This is my second stay here and even with some rainy days during my trip, it is so serene and beautiful here. It’s such a refreshing experience to be beside the beauty of the lake right here. Such a lovely spot and I hope to be back many more times!
