This was our first time at resort. Check in is not easy you have to go two desks first to check in and second desk they trying to sell you to listen later at your stay 90 minutes their promotion. So check in time was long. There is no internet they stop your internet service and gives you wifii which never works. Villa itself had carpet which has old smell in the rooms and there was dead flies in the kitchen sink and big spider in the bathroom tub.

The room was very spacious and our daughter enjoyed the indoor swimming facility and arcade. However, our room/villa was extremely dated. There’s a giant orange bucket shaped bathtub off the kitchen that was strange. No jets. Just a deep orange tub. The showers are all tiny like you’re showering in a camper. My husband couldn’t even turn around in it and I had to turn the water off to scrub up, then turn it back on to rinse. We had ants in the kitchen that they sprayed the morning after our checkin. There were larger bugs that I was not able to identify dead in the closets and spiders. We chalked it off as a stay in the mountains and we should expect bugs, … I would be hesitant to book again.

Property is beautiful, however houses need updating, I had a leaky bathroom which dripped water to first floor. Carpet was dirty, but bedding was clean. Some bathrooms were very outdated, a bit scary.

Started off rocky but recovered

My stay was great. The only issue I had was when I first tried to check in there was no one tending to me. There were 2 people talking to one guest and one person just sitting at her station. The guy who came over and checked me was kind of rude and snippy. But the rest of the staff after that was amazing

Beautiful stay at Shawnee

This was a really nice place. In the trees and a lot of room for a decent price. The only downside was that I was not aware of it being a timeshare property. They tried to get me to go to a course after I checked out in exchange for meal money. I needed to get back home and I declined.

I didn’t receive a gracious greeting. Some of their requirements concerning my stay wasn’t explained to me prior to arrival. My stay was good. However, my unit had outdated furniture. I had to call maintenance for two repairs and the however the staff was very accommodating.The scenery around the resort was amazingly beautiful. They had plenty of fun activities on the resort for the families.
