The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped and I loved the flat top! It made it so easy to cook for everyone. Kids loved the paddle boards and even rowed over to the marina next door to eat lunch. The fried pies were amazing! We shared lots of laughs and made a lot of memories! We enjoyed our stay. House is a little aged but it being right on the lake was great. Driveway is a little steep but we had a four wheel drive truck. Wish you had a cleaning station for fish but all in all we had a great trip.

Great for family gatherings (grandmas to little ones); love the kayaks and paddle boards; kids enjoy fishing from the pier; decks are perfect for just sitting or reading or watching birds or boats go by; home is clean and the host is always pleasant and easy to work with.

Feels like home!

We been to this house for several years, ants every year, worse this year. Trash under beds, dishwasher was dirty,ice machine didnt work host didnt reply about it. Bedroom door dont shut all the way. Ac didnt work last night and flooded hall

Most awesome house on the lake!!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time!! House was perfect, location was perfect, swimming area was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone! Mr. Chip was just a call away when I did need to ask a question.. This is our 3rd year staying here and we cant wait to come back next year! We love the memories we make here with our babies. Oh yeah and the Kayaks are an absolute hit with the kids and adults! 10/10 recommend to anyone! The host and the house are the BEST!!!! Great escape

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was perfect for our group. The home is clean, roomy, cozy and well-appointed. The beds are all very comfortable. It's on a beautiful, quiet part of the lake with so many herons, eagles and osprey to watch. We spent much of our time on the back deck just looking out at the water. My children enjoyed swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding and they even caught a few fish. My only suggestion would be to put a "No Diving" sign down at the pier as it's much more shallow than it looks.

Mancation fishing trip

The house setup is great. We enjoyed sitting on the covered decks with a great view overlook the Waxahatchie. The flat top grill was a big hit. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great location .

What an awesome place for our family.

This was an ideal place for our family to be together. There was lots of spaces we could use to play games. Plenty of space we could find sanctuary to be alone when we needed to be. We would stay there again in a moment.
