Our extended family group of teens/adults had a very nice time. The house is actually 2 houses, so it was very spacious. The views of the river were fantastic. We spotted a seal as well as an orca. There were kayaks to use and we brought paddle boards, as well. There was not a beach per se. It was rocks and barnacles when the tide was out (you could, however, walk along the water's edge), and when the tide was in, the water came right up to the retaining wall. Well stocked kitchen. Great daytime lighting and great view from the house. In the evening it was a big dim for crafting and puzzles. A lot of outdoor seating situations. Unfortunately there was a burn-ban, so we couldn't use the fire pits, but were pleasantly surprised to find an outside gas-fed fire pit where we COULD roast our marshmallows! The hot tub was used: nice. So beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We all thought it to be an excellent "home" for our week away.
