Serene and cozy

We had such a nice time, we stayed an extra day. This was the perfect getaway home to spend a casual thanksgiving weekend in. A quiet, comfy home right on the edge of the inlet was so perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, and the hosts replied quickly to my questions. As far as location, you aren’t right in Shelton, which is great. We visited, but definitely preferred the quiet of this location. Thank you!

Family time

I spent five days with my daughter and youngest son. I can’t thank the owners enough for all the amenities…from the makings for SMORES to a bottle of Syrah. We enjoyed the bottle of wine together, dinner on the deck watching the sunset, and a swim. I especially enjoyed my morning espresso while enjoying the peace and quiet and the gorgeous view.

Within an hours, our family was completely engaged with the Osprey nest at the top of the tree. This is definitely a longer-term stay because there is a rhythm to the water and the tides and the long sunset that can really be appreciated over a week or so. I loved being here For some reason, I thought they were kayaks that were available for used to us, and they were not there. Excellent resource on the boots, cornhole, kids toys, Thank you very much

Beautiful relaxation spot

We - my husband, dog, and I - all had a wonderful time at Tabitha and Dan's place. You get beautiful views of the water from the comfortable kitchen/living space, and the back doors open up to a nice-sized deck and a short trail leading down to the beach. The water was gentle and warm enough for us to take out our paddle board and float around the inlet. We saw deer, beaver, osprey, heron, and more! It's a quiet spot with much to explore around this area.

Wonderful home

We had a great time enjoying the seals, otters, deer, ospreys, and our daily breakfast of fresh oysters from right out front in the bay. The view over the bay was beautiful, especially the sunsets. The house is clean, comfortable, and homey, and had everything we needed. Plenty of spices and condiments, and the coffee, eggs, and wine were a nice touch. Easy communication with Tabitha. Highly recommended.

Great Winter Getaway

Fantastic spot to get away for a long weekend and enjoy some quiet and being in the water. Super dog friendly and had everything we needed to really enjoy our stay. Owners were fantastic and communication was really easy.

Spectacular views!

Quiet, private setting with spectacular views! Excellent place to walk dogs. We saw deer every day. The cabin is well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. Instructions were well organized.

Excellent Property

This property is excellent. It is very well stocked and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. The view from the deck is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable, there are soft robes in each bathroom, and the kitchen has everything you need in it. The hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. What a lovely place

The cottage has a very personal and comfortable atmosphere - you feel like you have been invited to a friend’s cabin for the weekend. Everything is clean and in good working order. The location is awesome. With the west-facing view, the sunsets are beautiful! Would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as pictured

Lovely cabin, beautiful water views, very comfortably appointed. Enjoyed spotting the resident seal in the harbor a few times (my husband dubbed him “Sealy Dan”). It’s a bit of a trek into town for supplies, and the grocery stores and restaurants in Shelton aren’t great, so I’m glad we brought most of what we needed from home. Had a relaxing and restful week - just what we wanted!

Absolutely incredible

This place is perfect. It’s got three spacious bedrooms with good mattresses, kitchen is fully stocked and open. Living room and dining room are comfortable without being on top of each other. And now for the outside…. Wow it was so unbelievably quiet. There is an osprey nest in one of the large trees that you can look at while on the deck. Make sure to look for high tide low tide in the area as the water was perfect to sunbathe and swim in. If you don’t pay attention to tide, you may get stuck in the mud. Just a breathtaking property. Grocery shops and food are about 20mins away and the drive in is so wonderful. Owners are very helpful if you have questions. My family and I had the very best of times and can’t wait to come back! Peaceful and relaxing

This place was so relaxing! Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels and blankets, and the charcoal BBQ full of oysters was the perfect touch along with campfires! Lots of jellyfish to see when Kayaking at high tide. Also, felt so safe letting our kids 10 and 8 roam around.

Special place with all we needed to enjoy it

It was so nice that the place offered so many amenities to make sure that we enjoyed all it had to offer- boots for low tide beach combing in a workable sizes for me, hubs, 9 and 10 yr olds (only 3 yr old didn’t have a pair that fit), firewood, s’mores stuff, cooking basics, towels for a crowd. We would stay again! Thank you for sharing your space with us!
