Much Wenlock is only 3 miles away with its independent shops and variety of places to eat, while the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge is 7 miles away with a wealth of attractions and museums. Walking and cycling trails abound if you fancy some outdoor adventures; the Shropshire Way and Offa’s Dyke Path are all nearby. Or if you’d like to discover some local history, there are some beautiful National Trust properties, such as Benthall Hall (6 miles), Attingham Park (8 miles), and Powys Castle (31 miles).
