Excellent location for the town and all amenities. Comfy property with lovely kitchen diner area, our double bed on the first floor was too soft for us bt other than that a good time.
Waw what an utterly amazing house, the beds were sooo comfortable we all slept like logs and the house is amazingly clean and spacious and there is everything you need for your stay.
The garden is amazing and a space to put your dogs in if you wanted too!
We took our dogs with us everywhere as they are small. We had a blast there and definitely will be back that is for sure and the owner was conscientious and helpful and the house is 5min walk away from town over the railway Dana bridge and 2 min away from the river. And itâs lovely and peaceful area and easy to find the house. We will be back as we want to go too the prison and go to escape room lol
10 out of 10 rating loved it :-)
The house is well set up and has great access to the river paths for general walking and into the town. Kitchen well-equipped and spacious. Stairs are a little steep but otherwise a great house to stay and take in Shrewsbury.
The property was well placed for exploring Shrewsbury with a walk into town of about 10 minutes and you are right beside the cycling/walking route along the river. The property had all that we needed and was beautifully clean. There is a large fridge freezer in the kitchen, a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Towels are sufficient but a bit on the small side. The stairs up to the bedroom would be steep for older people and those to the second floor steeper still. I am in my late 70s and struggled. Watch you don't bump your head as you go up! The bedrooms had plenty of storage for clothes. We found parking a real problem as all the adjoining roads were parked bumper to bumper. We managed to squeeze into a gap with 5 minutes of maneuvering as our car is small. There is a paved back garden with outdoor seating. Neighbour with adjoining garden very friendly and helpful - she is a Shrewsbury ambassador. We had a dog with us and there are places nearby to take them for a walk/free run - just over the bridge near to the property and if you walk past the weir in the opposite direction to the town there is a piece of land beside the river. Both also have play areas for children. We would book to stay there again.
We loved our stay. The place was clean and well stocked and had ample space for our party of four. It was a very short walk from the center of town and itâs proximity to the river tow path meant it was a great place to run. Shrewsbury is charming and full of activities and this was the perfect place to stay!
We stayed at the property whilst exhibiting at telford centre, and what a great place base. Everything we needed as a family. A short walk from town too. I can't recommend enough.
