The best of all worlds can be enjoyed at this beautiful old stone house. Just 5km from Siena, it's easy to pop into the city. Head north and you can explore the vineyards of Chianti, and if you go west, within an hour you can be lying on the shores of the Med, on the wild coast of Grosseto.



That’s if you can bear to leave this lovely country house. Step through the portico – set with chairs to provide a cool spot in the heat of the day – and admire your luxurious lodgings, with traditional touches including terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings.

The huge airy living area is divided into a lounge and dining room, with a kitchen to the side. Up the open marble stairs you'll find the spacious bedrooms. The first double is close to a private bathroom and a single bedroom, making this a good choice for a couple with a small child, while the other two bedrooms are beyond a separate door and have their own en-suites.



The lounge is large enough for a sofa that could seat your whole party of six. But the large arched French windows lead to a terrace with a dining table where you're likely to spend much of your time. It’s a pleasant, shady spot – for a blast of sun, head down the steps to the private pool. Both are perfect for enjoying this house’s other great asset, magnificent views of the Chianti countryside.



The friendly owner lives onsite in a detached house, they will be happy to help while respecting your privacy.
