Run by crackheads, stole my bag, filthy. NASTY!!!

RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! NEVER STAY HERE The motel 6 in Silver City is staffed with unsavory people. They stole my bag from my room and when we returned at night, my room was occupied by people who looked like they were doing drugs, the door was wide open and my bag was gone. The unprofessional attendant at the front knew they had stolen my bag because he called the employees who had taken my bag home with them and told them I was looking for my bag and they should bring it back. Taken by two of the employees who were on duty when I checked in. The room was now occupied by friends who were coming in and out nonstop. We were given another room that was filthy. There were cockroaches, no shower curtain, the tub and toilet were disgusting. We took pictures and have a police report. Even the manager looked like a crackhead. She said her name was Margarita. I suffered anxiety and could not sleep. RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! The worst experience ever! THIEVES RUN THIS PLACE AND INVITE ALL THEIR FRIENDS INTO YOUR ROOM WHEN YOU'RE NOT THERE.

Do Not Stay Here!

Had to have been the worst stay I’ve ever had. Really dirty and run-down. I’ve stayed at a Motel 6 before and it was average, but this was definitely below average. The door did not work properly and the smell was hard to get used to.

We have stayed at Motel 6 in other cities, and they all seem to be comparable and acceptable. The location in Silver City, however, appeared clean and in good repair from the highway, but when we turned into the property and drove to the side and back of the location, we saw that it was run-down and dirty. It was raining that day, and windows were open with no screens, curtains blowing outside and rain soaking them and going into the rooms. The parking lot was full of large pot holes. The lobby of the property was dirty and dingy, not well-lit. If these areas look like this, we assumed that the room would be similar. Although we had already paid via Expedia, we did not feel safe and decided to get a room elsewhere in town. The only bright spot was the friendliness of the employee at the counter, Joseph. I would love a refund, but don't know if that will pan out.

AC room never cool. Bathroom toilet never stopped running. small roaches throughout room floors swept but not mopped. We left a message about AC but no one came to check it out. They should take the picture of the grass in front of the building until the start watering again.

My stay was speeded tad always. This is a great deal. Perfect location. Dig-friendly. As they say, “bueno bonito y barato”. Best bang for your buck in town. Staff is always friendly and attentive. I have been staying here multiple times.

Very disappointing.

Made reservation for room 1 week in advance king size bed, microwave, and refrig. Upon arrival no king bed. Reception tried to tell me reservation was for a room with two queens. Showed my confirmation and story changed. Asked for a discount since didn’t get what I reserved. Could only be approved by manager (Margarita) who was not available until next morning. Got to room ac was broke, no toilet paper, tv remote missing, no refrig or microwave. Back to reception got new remote. Maintenance staff brought refrig. Water pressure for shower extremely low (see pic) and sink was a mist as the aerator screen clogged. (See pic) Maintenance man replaced ac next morning. Next day spoke to manager. Told me reserved room had a broken tub and could not be occupied. Again asked for a discount. Manager said she could probably get approved. Check out morning. Had a 0900 softball game. Got to office at 0800 to talk to reception and clear. Waited nearly 30 minutes with two other occupants for someone to come. No one did, I had to drop key card in slot and leave. Probably will not get a discount!

We drove up to the property couldn't even park in front to check in there was an old car that seemed broken down sitting in front of the front door. There were people outside working on cars under EZ-ul canopies. People were out the front door smoking . After we checked in we walked to our room and the door was wide open. The room looked nothing like the picture online. There was dirt or what seemed to me smeared boogers on the wall. We didn't even put our bags down and went and asked for a refund.
