Les points forts : Propreté
I am a solo traveler, a dayhiker, a man of 70. I spent several years in New Mexico as a young man and visit every three or four years.I enjoyed the cabin. It is as described. Clean, orderly, very quiet. I rented it because it was close to hiking trails I wanted to hike, since it is at about the halfway point from Silver City to the Gila Wilderness Visitors Center and Cliff Dwellings. The email I received before I arrived had lots of good information and noting there are no grocery stores nearby (Silver City is 50 minutes away).Like the description says, it is an old cabin. But it really has been kept up well. Beds are very good.Laundry room very handy. Kitchen is great for one person to cook in (gas stove, good fridge). I agree wholeheartedly that the cabin is not safe for children. The worn wooden deck wouldn't be safe, nor the proximity to the downward slope the cabin rests above.I do suggest luggage racks in the bedrooms. And another suggestion would be to get some curtains on the kitchen door window. There are really nice blinds on the rest of the windows in the cabin, though.
