Fun tripA bit of a snag getting into unit but once the new code dropped I was able to get inGarbage cans outside were full and overflowing with trash all over drive, we cleaned it up and host had cans picked up next day.Interior was very clean, comforts beds Projection tv was great once figured out, the main controller is a bit finicky. Bathroom was very clean, however the toilet needs to be adjusted both inside the tank and to secure to floor, it was loose and rocked a bit when folks sat on it. I had an extra garage bag fortunately, non in the unit. Canoe was really fun, we took a long paddle we had also brought our own kayak and life preservers. Ample firewood for wood stove, bring your own lighter and kindling or fire starter blocks. Weather was great and the location in the water was wonderful to wake up to. Overall we really liked it
It was clean, comfortable, well supplied, with a gorgeous view. The one negative was noise. The first evening there was a dog barking off and on in the neighborhood. The second day a neighbor was having a tree removed, loud machinery. We were out half the day fortunately. The property owner has no control over all that of course, but next time weâll look for a place not so close to neighbors.
Stated here for new years and enjoyed it very much. Was a great way to disconnect with family. Spent some time fishing. Had one hiccup with the autolock not working and being locked out of the house but they responded promptly and got us in the house.
Had a great time! My wife and I took three of our grandkids to visit the Ape Cave, and Mt St Helens, which are both about an hour to 1.5 away. The house was great. Very comfy, and stocked with everything we needed. Castle Rock is a short 10-15 min drive, and Kelso not much further if you need a mall or movie theater. It is right on the lake, with itâs own private dock. There is a 15â canoe for your enjoyment as well.
