I was underwhelmed by our stay here. The sense I get is that the hotel has a lot of deferred maintenance and insufficient staff to get the job done. Don't get me wrong, staff are trying their best to help customers… but why does a supposed premium hotel expect its customers to do their check in for them? If I want a depersonalized experience, there are plenty of cheaper hotels that offer that. It was weird how the interior spaces featured chipped walls, threadbare carpets, detritus that wasn’t picked up for days (like the finished meal outside our door that had been left there from the previous occupant and never cleared in two days we were there). What I really disliked however was the musty odor that greeted us as we entered our room, the classic scent of mold. It was 1am by the time we got in so we just lived with it but how does this not get noticed and fixed by room service / maintenance? When our kids tried to use room service to get some food, the electronic system failed them. Calling room service still worked, the operator was super friendly but it doesn’t explain why three simple sandwiches can take over an hour to prepare and deliver. The buffet they offer for breakfast was spread across a large area but which also offers a ton of food options. At $55 a plate, the cost seemed somewhat high. Dinner buffets run at $110 a plate. Etc. I want to give this place a higher rating but I was pretty underwhelmed.

Very good location, views to Marina Bay from the room. Good breakfast. However in my room there was a problem with the pipes and did not smell well in the evenings. They just tried to solve the problem with some spray with aroma

Exceptional Staff

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but credit is absolutely due here. This was our second visit, and while the hotel itself is impeccably clean with well-appointed rooms and a fantastic location, it's the staff who truly make this place stand out. Every member of staff we encountered, from arrival onwards, demonstrated an incredible level of professionalism and friendliness, making us feel completely at home and ensuring a memorable stay. We particularly want to highlight Agnes in the Pacific Club lounge for her outstanding hospitality and the wonderful care she showed our young son.

Connected to Suntec by a footbridge which facilitated getting to a conference venue in no time. Great bar and swimming pool. Good location as it is only 10-15 min from Marina Bay and other city landmarks. Overall our stay was very pleasant.
