The property fit the description and offered a cozy "boho" vibe. The location was convenient for accessing downtown Sioux Falls activities. Unfortunately we ended up checking out early due to air conditioner issues. The weather was very hot and using the two window air conditioners kept blowing the breaker. Abby was responsive and we kept trying to make it all work by flipping the breaker switch when tripped several times. Eventually after noting the switch getting warmer and trying to sleep using only one of the AC units, we requested early checkout and a refund. We did receive an adjusted rate and no penalty for checking out with only 1 night used out of two on the reservation. In milder weather and especially if the wiring/AC issues were addressed, I'd stay there again. They are definitely on the right track with their property and have a cute option for close to downtown.
Great little space, was perfect for our trip to Sioux Falls! Close to downtown, was able to walk downtown for summer concert, it was great! The location was centrally located and easy access to main streets to navigate around Sioux Falls for our softball tourney! Highly recommend!
Apartment was just as described. A great place to lay our heads during a busy weekend. If you travel with pets, a good spot. Lots of offerings to help with pet just inside the entrance. We didnât need them, but nice to know it was an option. I do see what people mean about the noise. One night the cars were very noisy. Second night was just fine. All a part of being downtown. You are in the historic district. Some homes refurbished, some in the process of being, some boarded up. I love that this neighborhood is getting new life!
We enjoyed this space. The hosts are communicative and very friendly. We appreciated that we could both work remotely from this apartment since there is a desk and a large table. Only negative part is that the towels had stains, the plates appeared a bit dirty, and the entrance / room had a bit of a smell.
Not really equipped for more than two people to stay in this apartment
The View Through the Windows was excellent. But saying that four people could sleep there was not a adequate description had to sleep on the futon which was very uncomfortable so it's really made for two that being said I probably wouldn't stay there again
This was a great place to stay for walkability to fun downtown attractions. The apartment is adorable and check-in and property access was convenient. Would stay again!
Spent a couple nights there while we were in town for a family event. The place was cute and clean and the kitchen had what we needed to make some simple meals. I would recommend it!
Great place! We were passing through on our move and had everything you need in a stay. I would highly recommend and itâs a brisk walk to everything!
This stay was convenient and easy to talk to the property manager, we enjoyed how close to downtown we were. It was very loud! Loved that they provided earplugs though! There was a man smoking weed a couple times at the house next door and it smelled and made us slightly uncomfortable to walk at night. There was a ton of thought out cute things for the shower and snacks, etc. we overall enjoyed our stay! It was clean other than some of the dishes had to be rewashed before use.
What a cute place! We've been traveling from Seattle and staying in hotels, so we thought we'd try this place for a change and it was perfect. It gave my son a chance to have some privacy and I was able to sit and enjoy myself on the sofa and watch t.v. Nice to have a good cup of coffee as well. I almost wished I had booked an additional day, it was so relaxing.
Mid century modern vibe. Comfortable living room. Well equipped kitchen. Separate bedroom with full bath. Sparkling clean. A couple of flights up; might be a challenge for some.
This is such a cute little place to stay! Perfectly located close to downtown and the falls. But still in a neighborhood so it was nice and quiet. We only stayed one night but enjoyed it.
This is the first time in 7 years that I've had to stay anywhere other than my mom's house for a visit back to my hometown! The best part about the stay was that I *felt* like I was back home in Saint Louis. The layout of the property and the proximity to downtown made me feel like I was in my own apartment back in Saint Louis, which was great.
Only a couple notes of things that could be improved -
Within 10 minutes of arriving to the property, I needed scissors and could not find any. This sounds so silly, but I thought for sure I would find scissors in the kitchen as they had every utensil you could imagine! Though I didn't do any cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, I did appreciate the variety of tools available but really needed scissors!
Also to note, the water pressure in the bathroom sink is almost nonexistent and that was really frustrating when I was washing my face + hands / brushing teeth.. but this can likely be fixed?
Lastly, the window AC units shut off twice and I had to flip the breaker to get them going again. The first time they shut off, I was at the property. The second time they shut off, I was at my brother's rehearsal dinner & when I got back to the property it was so hot in the unit, one of my cats got sick and had thrown up.
I have 2 window AC units in my own little city apartment & I know that they cannot be plugged in to the same wall, so I would adjust this if possible. Seems like there are plenty of windows in the property to switch one uni
