The only negative is the check in process and lack of information ( we had no idea where the pool was or how to dispose of trash - a book would be helpful) The host is very responsive. We felt that there should have been more amenities like a starter bar of soap etc. The location is perfect to get ferries, go to restaurants and amble around Sliema. Having parking in the garage was also helpful.
We had a great time in Malta - Sliema is a good place to base yourself
The swimming pool at the property is great for days when you dont feel like travelling further.
The owners of the property were easy to contact and we had to contact them to advise our air conditioning had stopped completely they were great in organising a temporary fix - this was amazing.
Overall we were a little disapointed by the property itself.
-the air conditioning units in the main bedroom were very noisy - every 40mins it would make a loud noise for 5 mins - our stay was for two weeks and we were really fed up with having disrupted sleep.
-The mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing - we had to tape it back together.
-the twin beds in the other bedroom were really poor quality and you could feel the springs - both our children complained about these.
-The listing for this property is a bit misleading - there is parking attached to this apartment - the owners charge more than the public parking that is in the same building.
-The listing states a gym- which is misleading - this costs 55 euros p/p for two weeks - the listing should state this cost
- Fixings in the bathroom and wallpaper in places were hanging off the wall
-TV in main bedroom doesnt work
- The handbook states bedding would be changed after one week for a two week stay - the owners said this wasnt available for us
Overall a good stay but the listing describes this as a luxury apartment - it is not!
