Relaxing Beach Vacation

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week at this house. We had not been to Topsail Beach before and found it charming. Very laid back and not crowded. The house is in a great location, only steps to the beach. It has great decks and floor plan with large kitchen open to the dining and living areas. But the furniture and decor could use some updating throughout. We also did not care for the “bring your own bedding and towels” policy. We would definitely stay at Topsail Beach again but probably not this same property.

A Wonderful Beach House

We were very happy in this rental. It was clean except for some moldy grout in the downstairs Jack & Jill bathroom. The location was great. The house is nicely supplied with what you need. Lots of chairs and dishes. The outdoor shower is great!

Great location but needs a deep clean

We had a beautiful view and great access to the beach. The decks were great and the furniture out there was very nice! The outdoor shower was crucial and we started using it for all of our showers. Overall cleanliness was a big issue. There were two showers that had a disgusting amount of mold growing all over the floors and we had to wear flip flops in the shower or shower outside. These showers need to be bleached and re grouted. The pillows are stained and need to be cleaned or replaced. Two comforters had questionable stains on them and it seems they aren’t washed regularly. There’s no garbage disposal. It’s a great unit but a major deep cleaning is needed. Shower, pillows, comforters, kitchen pans.

Spacious place with beautiful decorations and easy walk to beach. Plenty of forced air and ceiling fans to keep cool. The refrigerator even had an ice maker! We would rent this house again.

Excellent!

This property was spotless! Bedding was very comfortable. I cannot tell you how pleased we were to find the kitchen VERY well appointed! You have everything you need and more...nice plates, plenty of glasses and silverware, plenty of high quality pots and pans and appliances. Great for a large group. We had an issue with the air conditioner mid-week and called the realtor. They were very friendly and responsive. A repairman was there within 30 minutes and fixed the problem. Of course, the ocean view from the living/ dining area was spectacular! The bathrooms were nice-sized and each bedroom had it's own. Although this is a duplex, ( the other side was rented this week as well) we heard nothing from our neighbors...which means great insulation! Would definitely stay again!

Beach in October

The duplex we rented was nice. Beautiful location right on the beach. Very nice great room with space for all. Kitchen well stocked plates, cookware etc...could stand a good deep cleaning. Duvets supplied I don't believe have been washed between visits.

So-so property

Not sure how long it had been between rentals, but there was sand residue all over the downstairs master bedroom floor (the one with the private bath). Most of us are 60 and above, so warning should be given that unless you are in excellent shape, the stairs will kill you. We all enjoyed ourselves despite a few inconveniences.

Great vacation house!

The house was very clean, spacious, with 2 great decks and a fantastic view. There wasn't alot of sea shells on this beach, but I still managed to come home with plenty. We found about 70 shark teeth on this beach, most were very small. But, still we had a fantastic week of fishing, wading, and beach combing. The wifi is super fast, about 60 to 90mb per second. The only slightly negative thing... one of the kitchen chairs was broke when we got there, the house is a duplex (but there is a privacy fence up on the back deck), the decking is rotting where you rinse the sand off your feet, the couch is horribly uncomfortable, and our legs were sore from all of the stairs. But, all in all, I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Great vacation.

Perfect Oceanfront House!

We were lucky enough to choose this house for a family reunion, the first in 10 years! Location and ocean views were absolutely perfect. Quiet and well appointed with everything we could need, it was the beach vacation we’d all been waiting for. We loved all of the deck seating on both the first and second floors. During check-in, the property managers notified us that the second floor AC might need to be serviced later that day as it was very hot when we first arrived, and was fixed within the hour. The only mishap that occurred was that the pull out couch in the living room was broken upon arrival. We called the property managers and they handled it accordingly. Thanks for a great stay!

Outstanding Vacation Spot!

My husband and I always love visiting the beach in Topsail! House was just perfect we had all the space we needed and it was so great to be able to just walk to the beach as it was off the front deck. Spectacular sun rise view everyday! We would definately stay again!

nephews wedding on Topsail Island

Very nice. Beautiful views. Aside from not having a non- functioning dishwasher the accommodations were great. We had some great walks on the beach even though the weather was not ideal but it was not bad for March! We wanted to grill out one night and there were 3 small grills to choose from and they were all in pretty sad shape. I had to clean them before we were able to use it. Aside from that we enjoyed ourselves and the kids so enjoyed being at the ocean. Thanks for la great trip.

We had a great week!!!

The house was fantastic. The whole process from start to finish was very pleasant. Our only complaint was that the floors weren't clean. Sand throughout upon arrival and the floors were just not clean. The house was well appointed and clean otherwise. Also, the previous tenants did not empty either of the trash cans... we would definitely get this property again.
