Ocean and Pool Condo

Condo is up 4 flights of stairs- you'll get your exercise in for this vacation, we loved all the pool toys & ocean chairs we could borrow, you are definitely paying for the pool and ocean-front right at your door, the manager answered some questions but was slow to help, the condo was a little hard to figure out where you were in the giant building upon arrival, the actual rented condo could have been cleaner- from sandy floors to dust bunnies by every couch/bed it felt a bit dirty, the cupboards were cluttered with left behind pantry items such as half used bag of noodles/chocolate/other items, to useful items like salt and pepper, the utensils were all over the place in availability- there were 12 knives but 2 regular spoons for eating, the can opener is cheap beyond use, it's just a hodge podge of left behinds it seemed & we had to wash about every dish we pulled out. We enjoyed the ocean/pool and trip but as a VRBO owner myself I was a little upset with the price I paid for the lack of cleanliness/kitchen tools.

Property could use some updates and kitchen needs some items. Host was easy to communicate with and responsive. Had to have handy man on site twice for A/C issues and backed up shower. Dealing with problems on vacation is not a good time, but as said, the host was responsive and made sure things were made right.

Family vacation

We had a great time here! Beachfront with lots of shells and shark teeth when we would go for morning or evening strolls. Pool was large enough for many families without feeling crowded. Lots of restaurant brochures left by the host as well with menus and contact info for delivery. Condo was spacious and clean. Kitchenware was plentiful for us and the addition of some toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body soap and TP) in each bathroom was thoughtful. Would definitely come back again!

Lovely cottage-style condo, right on the beach!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week stay in this lovely condo with beach and intercoastal views. The condo was well-supplied and cared for. We will come again! Thank you! One note: this property is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. Plan accordingly :-)

Home away from home!

We liked the cheery, sunny, beach vibe with great views, and the comfort of the unit and bedrooms. Everything we needed was already provided and the thoughtful touches made it easier to just relax. The back porch area was nice to sit and the unit was clean and comfortable. We would definitely use Moxy again when traveling.

Beautiful beach, wonderful vacation!

We had a great time at this condo. It was a beautiful view and the condo was exactly how it was described. We loved the area and the grounds were kept up very nice. The pool wasn’t overly crowded nor the beach. It was a great week of vacation! The back screened in porch was a wonderful bonus esp to put all of your sandy, wet beach items! We only have 1 complaint for the week. The kitchen utensils need updated. (ie: need can opener, new dish towels (more than 1) and new pot holders (old ones have holes). Nothing a quick trip to dollar tree can’t fix! Thanks for a great week! We will definitely return to Topsail and this condo.

Beautiful Views from the 4th floor

The views are gorgeous, located on the 4th floor with the inlet off on one side and the ocean on the other it offers beauty from the front and back. The condo has been semi updated however it is not cleaned well. Sheets were crusty and dirty. Extra blankets in closets and pillows were stained and old. Bath towels were cheap and stunk after 1 use. Kitchen is well stocked however they have you wash and put away everything leaving cleanliness questionable. Has great potential but needs a few tweaks and quicker response times from Moxy. Will not return to this unit but for 2 nights we made the most of it.

Adorable place to stay

My family and I loved the condo very much. The photos definitely made the place look bigger than it felt in person. None the less that didn’t effect our stay. We were sent details to lots of extra curricular activities that hadn’t been provided by any other property manager before this time. That was a lovely treat! A few things that should be addressed tho is the cleanliness of the place. Every window was dirty and weren’t able to be seen through and there wasn’t anything provided to clean them. We purchased and Cleaned and left the cleaner for the next person. The floors had a ridiculous amount of sand for it being what we believed to be freshly cleaned for us. The kitchen counter had crumbs and sticky stuff on it. Also the room with the queen bed had and still has splashes of “something” on the wall next to the dresser. Oh and the comforters and blankets need to be cleaned. Also I believe the Sheets need to be switched to something not so scratchy and bumpy. Besides all of that. We honestly loved the vacation home and the place. The pool opened the day we left so we got to take a quick dip! We weren’t expecting it to be open at all!

We were very comfortable at this rental, and felt we had all we needed to be able to relax and enjoy our trip. The beds were comfortable, plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, and the kitchen was well stocked and made meal times easy. The veiws were breat, and double porches was a fun bonus!

Thanksgiving at the beach

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very quick to answer any questions or request we had. The view from the back balcony is amazing. King mattress was comfortable. I read other reviews that complained about the stairs but it’s only the 3rd floor so I didn’t think it was a big deal. Over all we were pleasantly surprised. Thanks

Very nice

We picked a bad weekend to go to the beach. It was pouring the first day and a half. But the balcony was very large and also stayed dry. So we could at least go out and see the beach. Loved the property. It has great views and anything you could need has been provided. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was ok, but not what we were expecting. The pictures on line are a bit deceiving. So for me, I was a little disappointed. In addition, I don’t recall reading in the advertisement that this unit had 47 steps to the fourth floor, and there were no elevators on site. I would recommend a first floor rental in this community. I would also recommend bringing your own beach chairs, as the ones provided are very small, bagged chairs that sit extremely low to the ground and are broken and rusty. I’m thankful I made my husband bring all of our beach chairs. Parking passes were an issue for us, because we had to bring an additional vehicle. 3 passes only are available in the unit. The others we were able to obtain through the property manager, who was a real pleasure to work with and provided excellent customer service. Overall our stay was good. It was comfortable, but too restrictive in some ways, unlike renting a beach house. Our first time in North Topsail Beach. It was nice seeing different scenery than where we normally vacation.

Mothers’Day At The Beach

The communication with the property manager was the best I’ve experienced with VRBO. The condo really had everything we needed. The view and sound of the ocean was such a gift. The beach wasn't crowded and was perfect for walking and looking for shells. The NC daughters are eager to go back with their families! We hope to plan another girls trip there too.

Perfect Getaway - A Haven

The condo was amazing! I took my team for a retreat to plan our 2023. It was the perfect place to stay. The unit itself was very clean and its location was priceless. The condo has the view of both the sound and beach. The sound view porch is screened and it has chairs to sit and relax in. The screened porch was the perfect place to place all our sandy toys and shoes (so we don't track in sand to the home). It host lots of sand toys and chairs, etc. They seriously thought of everything. It was so nice not to bring all our beach chairs from home. The unit was very clean and the bedrooms are nicely spread out. The open floorplan and sitting areas made it easy to gather and meet. The view of the beach with the sound of the wave was so serene. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool but we took walks on the beach that was seriously steps from the unit. The coast line was so stunning and the sunrise was even more spectacular. The basketball court and other outdoor games with grill is right outside which made it very convenient. We look forward to returning again to plan our 2024 business. I may even come back a few times in between with my family & friends. Thank you again for sharing such a lovely place with the us.
