Hidden amongst the trees, this attractive stone cottage enjoys a peaceful, countryside setting in County Kerry, less than 2 miles from the coast. The property sleeps four guests and makes a great couples’ retreat or base for a small family looking to escape the humdrum of everyday life. The colourful village of Sneem is 1.5 miles away, and boasts an excellent array of independent restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops. The cottage is located on the Iveragh Peninsula, and is surrounded by mountains, rolling hills, and waterways, making it a great base for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. You’ll also be able to pick up the long-distance Wild Atlantic Way just 1 mile away. For days on the beach, discover the region’s gorgeous stretches of golden sands, including Derrynane Beach (15 miles), with its white sand, turquoise waters, and picture-postcard views of Abbey Island. The vibrant town of Kenmare is 14 miles away, another great spot for hiking, and home to a choice of pubs and restaurants serving local delights.
The detached cottage carefully combines beautiful, original features with contemporary furniture and styling.
