The room for the most part was good. Silver Creek had just decided to close down all of the ski resort & some inside shops etc just before we got there due to warm weather & lack of snow. It was like a sad, empty abandoned ghost town. We still enjoyed the Hot Tub, Sauna & pool & ventured anround, over to Snowshoe & village but snow conditions were not great there either. So we spent all week relaxing, eating & hot tub. It snowed on Thursday & real windy. Saw the most beautiful rainbow just out from the patio! Then temps dropped into 20’s just when we’re leaving! Oh well, we had a good time anyway & we’ll be back!

Cute condo close to silver creek ski slopes. Sofa sleeper with a king size bed in the bedroom. Perfect for our family of 4. We would stay again.

There was a heating issue with pool. I think 10% refund would be nice. Some lightbulbs were burnt out. Overall it’s was a nice stay.

we had a great time while staying in this unit. the unit is clean, warm even without the fireplace on. it also close to the ski trail.just one suggestion to the owner: it will make the living room much bigger if put the TV at top of the fireplace.

Excellent stay!! The views from the room are amazing, got to see a gorgeous sunset every night! Amazing location right next to the silver creek ski runs, but even when silver creek isn’t open it’s very convenient to get to the main snowshoe base.

The condo was clean and as represented. It had everything that we needed and was reasonably priced. I would recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay near the Cass Scenic Railroad. Restaurant options are limited though in this area in the fall.

The owner had to move us to a different condo he owned due to matters beyond his control. The condo, 2406, had everything that we needed plus more. It was spacious and very clean. Everything seemed updated. We recommend this condo and owner, Don.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying in this condo to celebrate her birthday, and it was nothing short of delightful. The unit was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with every kitchen amenity we could need to prepare a cozy, home-cooked meal. It truly felt like a home away from home.Beyond the exceptional accommodations, the property offered access to a serene spa and an inviting pool, which made relaxation effortless. The convenient transportation to Snowshoe Mountain and the short, scenic walk to Silver Creek only enhanced the experience, offering us the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility.We left with fond memories and are already looking forward to our next visit to this charming retreat!

Comfort needs more Attention

Unit is clean, kitchen has enough items to make simple meals and is located in a great building that offers a coffee shop and a great restaurant that has tasty food and drinks. The pool and hot tubs offering with the slopes being steps away are unbeatable conveniences, and amenities. Back to the condo. Using the code to enter was simple, but when we got in the unit, it was about 200. We discovered the heat was coming from the oven and so we suspect the cleaners used the 500 heat function on the oven to clean it and turned it off JUST before we walked in. As a host myself I could say this unit would be 5 stars if the bed and sheets didn’t feel like they came from the dollar store. The mattress needs to be replaced and the sheets were the roughest, most rigid and uncomfortable that I’ve actually ever felt. We were here in the winter so it was really bizarre to me that the unit stayed SO HOT constantly. The wall heaters were NOT on and to ensure that they were not turning on on their own, we flipped the breaker to them. We opened windows in the effort to cool the place down, but you can’t keep them open when you sleep because this unit faces the parking lot that is busy all night with people, cars, and buses so its noisy. We turned the bedroom fan on but had to instantly turn it off because it is also insanely loud. If these items were fixed, I would absolutely rent again, but because these situations added so much uncomfort, I would likely rent a different place next time.

Family Ski Getaway

The accommodation was a nice size with updated furniture, amenities and tub/shower. Our two college-aged kids were comfortable on pull out queen size sofa. The owner gave good directions, parking pass and check-in details. Would recommend this VRBO!!

Quiet, secluded getaway

Although we appreciated being upgraded to a two-bedroom on the top floor - much better views of the unexpected snowfall, it would have been helpful to know that nothing in the hotel or surrounding area was open.....no breakfast, no restaurants. Frozen pizza from the Dollar General and Subway footlongs at the gas station were all we had to eat. The property was very nice, though. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our newly remodeled room was very roomy and well-kept.

We stayed during the off season in Oct so everything was shutdown at the time. The price of the rental was great so its definitely worth staying here even though there are pros and cons. PROS: Very clean condo, roomy and spacious for two, easy access, well equipped kitchen, good lighting, lots of DVD movies, washer & dryer, and private balcony. CONS: No extra blankets or even a throw on the sofa. Livingroom ceiling fan remote doesn't do anything (light works but no fan), Roku Remote doesn't work (followed instructions and nothing happened) Bedroom ceiling fan make a weird noise, broken window blinds, light above stove burnt out. Sofa and chair are both hard and uncomfortable, The bed was comfortable but pillows are hard, cheap toilet tissue, had to unload the dishwasher ourselves apon arrival. Most of these are an easy fix, just needs some TLC.
