We've stayed at Solitude for more than 30 years, usually getting a condo through Solitude lodging. This time, we wanted a bigger condo and liked the VRBO listing. This is a lovely unit with a lot of space. Two bedrooms with king beds and a third bedroom with a couple of large bunk beds. The kitchen was well equipped with about anything you need. And bathrooms came with Avenu lotion dispensers.Check-in was easy with a key in a lock box in the condo building entry foyer. As will all Solitude condos, you have a locker for skis in the locker room (near entryway), an outdoor hot tub in the building and access to the "Club" with the pool, hot tubs, game rooms, sauna, across the way in the Eagle Springs East building.A few side notes: Both restaurants in the Solitude village, Honeycomb Grill and St. Bernards, are amazing this year. Casual fine dining with talented young chefs. We cook most of our meal in, and take sandwiches for the lunch, but like to eat out one a week. This is the best year in many many years for these restaurants. And if you have kids, the Solitude Kids Academy is awesome. My kids, now in their 30's, are expert all mountain, off-trail skiers due to Solitude's instructors, and my my grandson just started.
