We were camping in Lake Somerville Birch Creek Unit but wanted a cabin for some cooking and beds for non-campers. This was a great option. Really close to state park and comfortable cabin.Located in a RV park that made friendly neighbors, the a/c was great, beds comfortable, nice shower & kitchen
Everything was fantastic... The pictures are accurate, do not expect a great outside view, but the description is clear the location is inside an RV Park, so it is very fair. I will stay here again with no doubt. Thank you Tanya.
Espero regresar pronto
Great location, nice kitchen that even had grapefruit spoons. You should put on your amenities list that you have wifi because I wasn't sure you did until I got there. In fact, I work remotely and your wifi was great. We had trouble getting the br door to stay open was my only complaint. You also truly had plenty of blankets and towels which was nice
The cabin was nice. Decorated nicely. Fully stocked kitchen. It was more expensive than we usually spend. I didnt realize it was in an RV park. But that could have been my oversight. I did not remove our trash because it is hard for me to maneuver the steps and i feel like thats part of clean up which is included in the fee. Overall it was a good experience.
Cozy little cabin in an RV park. Outside you get the RV park feel. Inside you are a million miles from civilization but with smart TVs. Plenty of room for 2-4. Tiny house living with no wasted space but it feels like plenty roomy with the high ceilings. Country cabin decor. Think Hobby Lobby. All the amenities we needed including a microwave.
We were there for the Round Top Antique fair. Itâs an easy drive to the fair if you take the main roads. The back roads only save a few minutes and are narrower with a lot more turns. Not so much fun for a minivan.
Very enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed our stayed here while visiting Lake Somerville State Park for the weekend. This little cabin is nestled in the back of an RV park and only minutes away from the park. There was plenty of room for the kids to go outside and play and not be in anyone elseâs space. The cabin was exactly as described, and the owners were easy to communicate with. They left resources of local restaurants and other places which was very helpful. If we are in the area again, we will definitely try to stay here again.
If your looking for a quiet place to hang out, be close to Lake Somerville, see some deer and just enjoy the outdoors this is the place!! We had some friends bring their RV and with Frank n Kev Rv park right in front of the cabin it was the perfect spot to be close to our friends during the day and still have privacy at night.
This cabin was perfect for our family weekend stay at lake Somerville. Itâs about 1 mile from the park entrance so easy access. It was very clean and cozy! It has all the items we needed for a weekend stay.(no microwave)
This was a good cabin! There were a couple of things that we didn't care for, but overall, it was very nice. They definitely need a microwave! The toaster oven was ok, but a microwave is a huge necessity. Also, the cabin is surrounded by RV's and there is no privacy. The best part was the TV channel selections! Everything we needed was right there! It was very close to the lake and we saw lots of deer on the road.
When arriving the check in was as easy as it gets. The hosts were very respectful of our privacy yet available if we had any need. We ended up having a tire issue with the motorcycle and was very kind in their help., and they followed up with us.
Beautifully appointed cabin with all the comforts of home. Absolutely everything has been thought of! Communication with Tanya, the owner, was easy and prompt. This cabin is a must stay!! I will certainly be staying again!!
