The owner refused to refund 1 night when I requested to change my dates well ahead of the modification/cancellation date. (6 nights instead of 7) In fact, they didn't respond for over a week until I tracked them down on another texting platform. They lied and said they required a 7 night stay (a 6 night is required), then they lied and said only VRBO is able to send money back. They didn't care what me or VRBO said. Horrible treatment of a customer. I should have canceled and rebooked with 1 less night, but I was too nice, thinking they would honor the agreement.The property was fine and right next to the train station, There is a good bit of street noise, but luckily only 1 bdrm is on that side. The mattress in the primary bedroom is like sleeping on the floor, very hard! I paid a lot for this property hoping for a good mattress for my back, but it made it worse. Even my husband was very uncomfortable. We couldn't sleep, it was very painful.
