The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the grounds were beautiful, filled with lemon trees and colorful flowers. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable, but after a glass of wine (or two) we still got a good night's sleep! We spent 2 nights here in early April and really enjoyed it. It actually was better than the website led me to believe. The biggest positives were John, the gracious host, the cleanliness, and the nice breakfast. John was fantastic. He quickly responded to our Whatsapp texts when we were off-site and had questions, insisted on carrying both our bags to our room (when we were carrying them everywhere else anyway), and provided a lovely breakfast, including making coffee and hot eggs in addition to an array of pastries. He was knowledgeable, calm, thoughtful, and funny. Like having a sudden personal friend in Sorrento. The room was spotless and comfortable. The noisy toddler next door was hard to avoid in the small setting (the hotel -- maybe 4 rooms?-- seems to be the bottom floor of a tall apartment building) but it wasn't bad. All in all, a really pleasant stay, even more than we expected. Oh, and it is basically across the street from the old town which is very convenient. All for a very fair price in Sorrento. I really recommend it!
