There were some pros and cons about the place for sure.
The pros:
The cabin was cute and quaint. Perfect for a couple looking to get away like we were. It was secluded and private which is what we were looking for. The fall colors all over was totally perfect! We enjoyed having cable to watch given theres no service for internet on our phones with AT&T. The bed was so comfy and we slept great! The hot tob was clean and very relaxing!
The cons:
The address takes you about a mile past the enterance sp dont use a gps. As soon as you walk into the cabin, you were smacked with the smell of mold (this wasnt the smell of the water, two totally different smells). You can see the mold growing above the shower if you are standing inside looking above the curtain. When we got in, it was raining and you can see where there is water coming in on the side by the TV. At least it wasnt near the bed and didnt rain too much. The water is very hard and not treated at all. We are very familiar with well water. The good and the bad about it and when the water smells like straight sulfur like this, its not treated and has a high chance for bacteria. This is some of the worst well water ive ever seen or smelled. The shower curtains and shower were extremely stained from it showing they probably havent been changed on quite a while. The upkeep is just very lacking at this cabin and i would maybe pay $100 a night at most but creeping up to $200 was a little steep for the lack of maintenance.
