Great cabin for short weekend away. Excellent size for a small family or 2 couples (4 people max). Hot tub is such a treat, spacious living room is wonderful and kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking tools. Back porch with propane fire makes s'mores super easy. We loved being surrounded by woods. Owners graciously turned on the hot tub ahead of our arrival so kids could jump right in. The only challenge is the limited cooking and indoor dining space but for a short stay for 4 people it's doable. Just dont plan on a big holiday meal indoors. Our family loved the house though and it was clean, easy to find and comfortable.

Excellent Property

Our stay was lovely from top to bottom, beginning with correspondence from our hosts. We got an incredibly detailed message with everything that we needed to know about the check-in process. The hosts detailed everything from what they would like to see as far as use of the property to a quick and easy checkout. Despite our lack of responsiveness, they were still very attentive and proactive in reaching out to check if we need anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The property would be lovely for up to 6 people, but the two of us found great joy in celebrating here, and the hosts did a wonderful job in facilitating that.

Mini-moon

We stayed here as a “mini” moon after our wedding and it was amazing! The cabin is just as pictured except there is now a stone path to the hot tub, which was a great addition! Honestly they supply a lot more than I assumed, I went to make apple crisp and realized I forgot granulated sugar, well guess what, they had some! I really don’t have anything to complain about as the cabin was perfect, the property is gorgeous, and it’s just an overall relaxing stay!

Lovely getaway weekend

Quintessential New England cabin with creature comforts. We enjoyed our long weekend relaxing at this home in the summertime. I can see the benefits of going there to ski as well! Plenty of instructions available from hosts and no issues with any of the process.

WONDERFUL RELAXING PERFECT

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. The location of Deerwood cabin was perfect close enough to conveniences but giving us the remote feel we wanted for the long weekend! The pictures represent the property well. Brit and Alex were extremely responsive to our questions. We grilled, sat outside with fires, and enjoyed both the back deck and covered porch in the front! The hot tub is a perfect addition to this property, was perfect temp and clean. Thank you both for creating a relaxing atmosphere , we really enjoyed!

Beautiful Cabin!

We stay at a different cabin every Fall around New England and this is one of our best stays. The cabin is beautifully built. Super clean and really well stocked with all you might need for your stay. Whether you want to stay and cook, read, watch movies or go for walks this is your spot. We had an amazing time and hope to come back in the future.

Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and we needed a place to get away from it all. Vermont is our "happy place" and since we are currently living on the "left coast" we decided to incorporate a stay in VT after attending a wedding in Westchester, NY. The cabin is everything that was advertised. It was spotless! The bed was very comfortable for my wife and myself (we love a firm mattress). While we did not start a fire nor did we utilize the hot tub, both amenities were present and easy to use and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with hardware (pots, pans, toaster etc). I would DEFINITELY stay there again.....even after my senior moment..... I honestly thought that we booked an extra day and I was wondering why people were showing up at 10AM. I re-checked my reservation and, lo and behold, I was off by a day! We spoke with the cleaning people and scooped up our belongings and left with my tail between my legs. Anyway, the hosts were understanding and thankfully everyone was OK with my mix-up. Enjoy the cabin, enjoy the tranquility, enjoy playing Scrabble, and enjoy a slice of Vermont.

Idilic Cabin

Gorgeous and isolated. The cabin is spacious, clean, and in a great location. No A/C, but fans are provided to help circulate air on warm days. Hosts were friendly, accommodating, and communicated well. We hope to be back. Book your stay now!

A wonderful getaway

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Deerwood Hill cabin for a getaway weekend. The location is private and quiet but close enough to plenty of parks and outdoor activities for all. The great room with fireplace was perfect and we were in the hot tub daily! Highly recommend

Private house, at the end of the road.

Beautiful home, easy check-in. At the end of the private road, this house was perfect for what we needed, quiet, private and cozy. Beautifully decorated, the home is immediately welcoming. Though we didn’t cook, the kitchen is well-equipped
may be next time! Furnishings are clean, in great shape, comfortable and inviting. We used the fireplace (brought our own wood), and had no difficulty with the damper. The outdoor jacuzzi was perfect after a day of skiing. The mattress was comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets. The shower was clean and in great shape. We didn’t utilize the back deck, may be next time

Stratton Ski Trip

Amazing property located 10 Minutes to Stratton Mountain. Secluded with New Hot tub that was ready to go at arrival. Bedding,sheets and towels top notch. Owner communication excellent. Spent the first 24 hours just hanging at cabin before going out. Highly recommend

Just secluded enough

This home was the perfect pick for a quick getaway for my boyfriend and I. Tucked away enough that it felt like it was just us in the world but not too far from anything we needed, groceries, take out, wine...lol. This beautiful cabin managed to be both spacious and cozy at the same time. The fireplace was definitely my favorite feature - the stonework is truly gorgeous. The hot tub was great for a evening dip with light snow flurries. Brit and Alex were very responsive when needed. We 100% recommend and will stay again!!!
