The property itself is perfect for what we wanted and the unit is freshly remodeled and very nice. Florence II is a small building so there is no waiting on elevators or lines, etc. that you can find in larger properties. Our unit had an indoor parking space which, as beachgoers know, is really a nice advantage.

Everything was as listed or better. Laura and Judy had everything we needed for the stay as well as all of the odds and end amenities needed for a relaxing day out on the beach, from umbrellas and beach chairs to floaties and coolers to keep you from having to go back and forth. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice, and so was the indoor parking
 but the sunrise coming through the bedroom sliding glass balcony door in the morning was such an added bonus and really made for a beautiful start to the day. Don’t hesitate to book this one
 you won’t be disappointed. -Steve

Check in was a breeze! Kitchen supplies were plentiful for what we needed. Views were amazing and beautiful! Beds were very comfortable and plenty bathroom linens. The condo was very clean. Would highly recommend!

The condo was very pretty with an amazing view! The only issue we had was with the hot tub. It wouldn’t work when we wanted to use it. Called Laura and asked if she could help us. She said she would get back with us but never did. That was one of the reasons we picked this condo so it was a bummer

Great First Time at South Padre

The condo we stayed in was just as described in the listing. It was clean, comfortable, and extremely convenient to the beach. Not to mention the private Hot Tub overlooking the ocean, made those slightly chillier evenings enjoyable.

Amazing Condo!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Laura's condo! The location couldn't have been better, and the private hot tub was a dream come true after our beach adventures. The condo had everything we could possibly need and more. Laura and her mom are total rockstars! We had a little mishap and forgot my son's medication, but they went above and beyond to have it overnighted to us, even on a late Friday night. We can't wait to come back and are thrilled to have found this gem with such amazing owners!

Location was great, close to the Beach. Everything we needed was there. Small issue with internet when we arrived but manager was very responsive and helpful to get up and running quickly. Condo was clean and beds were comfortable. Would go back.

Fabulous view & close to the beach. There was a few things that were broken when arrived such as trays in the refrigerator & freezer and the lever to the recliner but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great place. My wife and I enjoyed the gulf view from the Condo and Private Hot Tub. The reserved parking for the unit in the garage was virtually 30 feet from the condo front door via the elevator. Perfect for people with mobility challenges.

We came down in November and we only had one nice day that we could truly enjoy the beach, but our unit had a private hot tub and that made ALL the difference. The facility also had a shared hot tub and pool but with temps in the 60's we just used our own personal hot tub. it was great. The unit was bright and clean and had all the space we needed. Beds were comfortable. Unit does have beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys and umbrellas to enjoy, also they have a lot of board games in the closet too. My only suggestion for the host is to include some extra blankets. There were extra pillows though which were great! The city water in South Padre is less than desirable, we have stayed other places so we know that it is bad everywhere - so we recommend buying bottled water to drink. Even if you don't stay here - the water is awful everywhere... there is a market within walking distance which was really nice! Parking was in the garage. A very tight fit for my traverse, anything bigger than that... like a Denali or Suburban will have even more trouble getting in and out. But it was GREAT to have a personal spot that was designated. Also a private beach access. This place was great. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit too. I would come back anytime!!! And I hope I do.

The condo worked out perfectly for us. We loved the unobstructive view of the beach. Though we didn't use them this trip, the availability of beach chairs, umbrella etc. was a nice feature. We'll likely return in the future.

Perfect!

Our stay at the Florence II was exactly what we were looking for! It was our first extended winter vacation and this condo was perfect. It had everything we needed. The condo was spacious and the views were amazing. We really appreciated the hot tub deck. Even though we didn’t use the hot tub as often as I thought we would, it was definitely a nice addition. Laura was easy to work with. Unfortunately it is not available during the time we wanted next year but we will definitely stay again!

Amazing views

This property was up to date and exceptionally clean. The rooftop hot tub was perfect for relaxing and watching the waves role in. We were fortunate to see both sunrise and sunset from rooftop. We would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed!

The reason why we booked this property was for the private hot tub. So we paid over a100 a night just for this reason. Which come to find out was not working. - even though said it was. We tried to contact the host and never heard anything. Called the second contact the 2nd day of our stay and they said they would have someone come out. Messaged them at 3pm to see the status and they replied "will be there today" at 8pm still nothing. Got ahold of the main contact laura after calling vrbo and she was EXTREMELY rude and even hung up on us says "she's not dealing with this". Wonderful way to treat guest. I would recommend to find somewhere else to stay!

30th Anniversary Getaway

This was the perfect getaway to celebrate our 30th anniversary! The condo was as advertised, but the view from the balcony was more than we had hoped for! Coffee every morning watching an amazingly beautiful sunrise was the perfect start for our day. The property manager host was more than patient with us and was easy to communicate with if we had any questions. We cannot wait to come back!!
