Room was healthy, smell was very strong BEER smell, door wouldn’t lock, back door was de open when we entered, front desk clerk attempted to ask for $60 cash for parking when told itinerary did not say that he says “I will waive the fee”, I also have video to show door did not lock, couldn’t leave my 85 year young mother in that infested nasty room!

Unexpected fee /deposit in cash only

There was an unexpected fee of $60 in cash only fee /deposit & deposit would be given back in cash after inspection of sheets , so I had to make sure to check out during office hours & wait for receptionist to go inspect & then comeback to give me $60 in cash .

Hotel and resort? More like motel vibes…

This hotel had nothing resort like about it. The beds were supposed to be Queen but they were full size. The hotel was clean but it was outdated. There was an outdated television that had a slight tilt to it but worked ok…and no, it was not a smart tv. There was a small fridge for drinks and snacks and a microwave. The restroom was just average but it was clean. They really really need to get better quality towels. Their towels were horrible! They felt like sand paper on my skin especially after I got sunburn. They also only provided one wash cloth for the three of us. We ended up buying a pack of wash cloths at the dollar general. Their ice machine was broken so no ice for ice chests or for your room. The pool smelled like its heavily chlorined. The resort fee was PER day not just $7. They ask for a $60 cash deposit and this was not noted anywhere on the hotel.com website. We only had $10 cash and they accepted this as a deposit. Upon check out they send someone to check the room and then will return your deposit. Overall it’s not bad for a short stay if you just need somewhere to wash up and rest after a Long Beach day. I don’t recommend for long term stays though. Better off paying the extra money for a hotel/airbnb that’s actually on beachside. This motel (I call it motel bc it’s giving motel vibes) is not it if you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. People were also out in the pool area past midnight being loud and playing loud music until about 11:30pm.

We came in two days late out of our four night reservation due to family members/concerns. We did not purchase the cancellation protection so we did not expect to stay longer than the reservation dates. Lorraine took the time to listen to why we were 2 days late and relayed it to the admin. Chris. Chris informed my fiancé that we could stay an additional night since we payed for 4 days but were 2 days late. This is beyond his call of duty and we were extremely grateful and could not thank him enough for showing such compassion and understanding. I think we have found our new favorite SPI hotel. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all my friends and family in San Antonio.

The price was decent, and the pool and hot tub was clean. I didn't see if they did breakfast, but it looked like they had a corner of the office with a coffee machine. Couple of vending machines in the main area. My room had a lamp without a shade and a closet without the rod. The a/c worked good and the beds weren't anything good or bad. Kinda stiff, which i prefer, and the pillows were clumpy, but thick. You pay for what you get.

This property was clean and the staff was super nice. There were some fees i was unaware of that had to be payed in cash so i had to leave and go find an atm. But i didnt read thr small print and it probably said that but ehy put it in small print? Just saying. I did get the cash back when i checked out so it all worked out. I would stay here again and i would recommend it to friends. Thank you Casa Bella!

Our stay was ok, nothing fancy. The beds were iffy, very springy and a little questionable if they were going to break. The AC unit leaked, and the pool was questionable if it was clean.

Mediocre stay just cuz of the staff

While checking in, front desk staff was missing for about 15 minutes. Finally they came out. They required a 7$ resort fee that i had no idea about. aside from that, they required a 60$ (CASH)deposit in order for me to check in. i had to drive up to a store to withdraw cash. Low customer service as if its your privilege to stay in this place. at 7:45am when i was ready to check out and get my deposit back, the lobby was closed. I called a number in the door and they said they would open after 8. I give the managers or owners this place worst than a mom and pop place on how they run it. The room was good in general, beds are very springy and not the best if that's what you are looking for.
