Perfect stay

This was our second stay on this property but the first time at this until. It’s very clean, comfortable, less than a block to the beach or even less to one of the quirkiest bar, hotel, entertainment adult only establishments, The Upper Deck. The kitchen is well stocked for anything you may want to cook. The beds are comfortable and it’s a great place to just relax. 100% recommend staying here to anyone.

Vacasa should be more proactive

The temperature was boiling. When we arrived the condo was 89 degree. Shortly after arriving we were informed they replaced the AC blower and it should cool down soon. After 5 hours it had only dropped to 83. By this point I called customer service to report the issue. If it wasn't for Eric the service manager it would have been a ruined vacation. However, Vacasa could have been proactive and avoided the entire issue. They had on record that there was an AC issue for 2 weeks. Yet, nothing was done to notify us of an issue or getting the AC replaced before we got there. In the end Vacasa cost my family more grief and money than they did help.

Nice Dog Friendly Condo

The condo was very nice. It reminded me of those time shares with very similar floor plans. Email instructions for the door lock key pad were good, but slightly unclear. “Brinks” is an actual button you have to push to get the code to work. It is also the only button you push in order to lock the condo from the outside. Lock & code work well. The condo is well equipped for the stay. The wifi network has a new name that foes not match the email instructions. After you discover the new network name, it works very well. The beds and baths were great. If you need the sofa hide a bed, that mattress is not very good. It really is the only thing on the property that needs replacing (just the mattress). The condo is upstairs with a nice view of the area, but the stairway up has more steps than normal. If you have mobility issues, this condo is not for you. It has one long parking space that will accommodate two cars. We had no problems with any illegal parkers. The condo is within walking distance of the beach. The is a small swimming pool that will accommodate a few kids. I have given the property five stars as it was very nice and we experienced no problems. It was very clean and well maintained. The a/c worked well and there seemed to be a good fire alarm system. I recommend this property.

Great getaway!

My wife and I had an awesome time staying in this condo. It was clean, it had everything that we needed (towels, shampoo, conditioner, full kitchen with utensils, etc.), it was super close to the beach access (just around the corner!). The only problem we encountered was not being able to get in when we arrived. More instructions on the Vrbo email would have helped (such as explaining that the door had to be slightly pulled towards you as you input the access code, and the wifi information was not accurate). Nevertheless, after spending about 30 minutes talking to a Vrbo representative (who was very helpful) and getting a call from the local representative (who was polite and patient), everything went smoothly from there. We will definitely be back.

Could not have asked for better

Such a great condo in a great location that I would like to try and get it any time that my kids and I visit SPI. We loved that easy and close beach access, I enjoyed having my coffee and watch the waves in the morning of the back patio, superb rooms and amenities. Just a great experience overall.

Nice and very clean. Just like being at home. Everything you needed. Had a problem unlocking box with code to get the key, but finally got it after about 10 minutes. Beds were not very comfortable. We had a video doorbell only one I saw like that. Didn't feel comfortable thinking we might have been watched every move we made!!! . We were the only blacks I saw that stayed there. Had a problem with tv in bedroom. Remote wouldn't change channels.

Great place - bad circumstance

The reason for only 3 stars is a situation that "was out of our hands". The road right in front of the condo was being redone and 2 of the days we were there, we were blocked in and could not get out when needed. I had an excursion planned that we couldn't make and the second time, I had to leave to get food for kids. The road had new asphalt on it which was troublesome for the cars and the sidewalk situation was non existent luckily this condo is one building away from the main road beach access but it was a bit difficult to haul the wagon beach supplies. I contacted management they said there was nothing they could do about the city but that they were aware that the roads were being redone. I just felt like they should have put a disclaimer "road may be under construction during time of visit". I did contact VBRO and they said they would try and reach the owner. We've been checked out for 5 days and have not heard anything yet. The only thing is we stayed a week and mid week, the landscapers came in to care for the nice landscape which is really pretty however when they cut the grass it all went in the pool and they didn't even bother to remove it. However, we really enjoyed the condo, it had everything we needed and then some. The closets had extra things in them that we may have needed but didn't. Good for people that travel from far or on airplane but for us, it just took up a lot of closet space. The place was clean, organized, and did not smell. I was concerned it may smell like pets but it did not. Very impressed with the condition of everything in the condo. The location was perfect, across from a beach access that had a bathroom and shower. You could see just enough of the beach and sunrise from the upper deck. I just really wish the road situation was better because it was a great place to stay very modern updated and comfortable.

First off the condo is very nice , how ever when we arrived the AC wasn't looking properly , we had it set on 65 and it was still 75 -77 in there except for late evening. The master bathroom door was sagging so we couldn't fully close it . And we lost power several times through out the weekend twice Pryor to the storm that came in Monday morning . The beds were the worst , very uncomfortable and hurt our backs and woke up very sore . If the beds were changed out and the AC fixed I would rate this a 5 star place
