Great location for one or two nights in Southampton. The hotel is dated but clean great little restaurant/bar on the fifth floor. Highly recommend for cruisers.
This was our 2nd stay. Sara at front desk was again amazing & made our stay very welcoming. Good value for the dollar but no facecloths or phones in the room is a bit disappointing.
Breakfast and dinner pkg was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good for short stays. No AC or heat - only fan and portable heater. No safe to keep valuables, no hooks for hand towel or clothes. Seriously needs to be renovated.
The bathtub was so high that getting in and out to shower was difficult. Tub very slippery then I saw in small print on a sign on the towel rack that rubber shower mats were available at reception.
Furniture very worn but overall clean. Was so tired from travel that I barely noticed the hard bed and even harder pillows.
Great staff.
The bathroom was not the most convenient, even though it appears resently renovated. The bath tub was totally on safe getting in & out for seniors. The bath faucets were to difficult to operate & complicated. Alot betters available on the market, maybe these were choosen due to price. The toilet interior bowel poorly design. When flushed, the flush leaves alot of stainig on the sides.
Lovely staff. Reasonable rates. Clean room. 20 minutes brisk walk to downtown. Good dinner when it finally came. Lol. They seemed to be short staffed in the dining room. Breakfast was buffet and nice. Overall a good stay.
