This property has historic beauty and is located in a nice neighborhood. Being less than a mile from my uncle's house made it the perfect stay for us. Be aware that the bedrooms and laundry area require a steep staircase climb, which will only present an issue if you are physically impaired. The property owner provides ample supplies and instructions for your stay, and is easily contacted if additional information is needed. Prepare to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this very unique and well-maintained property. Highly recommended.
Our neice, her husband and our grand nephew had a wonderful stay in Spartanburg. The location was excellent close to many downtown activities. Th accommodations were spacious in a quiet neighborhood ideal for walking. Would highly recommend to those visiting Spartanburg.
The house was definitely older but was very clean and sits in a nice established neighborhood. It was just what we were looking for when booking a long weekend in Spartanburg.
We stayed for two nights for a dance competition. The house was very comfortable for 3 adults and 3 young girls. The beds were super cozy. It felt like a nice home away from home.
Lovely older home but needs some TLC. Finish work needed to bring the place up to grade. Kitchen was not well equipped with practical pots n' pans. Kuerig failed mid-week with no drip coffee-maker as a substitute. Door lock was very temperamental, making for some tense moments. Nice neighborhood and a great location for our visits with family.
We needed a place to stay after a concert at the Peach Festival in Gaffney. The location was beautiful with surrounding well kept historic homes. Was a great value for the price. The shower had great water pressure and the beds were clean and comfy. Had a small issue with the lock getting in but the host was easily reached and quickly got us in. Would definitely stay again.
In particular, this property was relatively easy to find thanks to Google. The area allowed easy access to shopping (my wife and daughter's favorite thing) and quick day trips. Visited the Cow Pen's battlefield, the Peachoid water tower in Gaffney, South Carolina and a few 1st round World Series softball games at Spartanburg's Tyger River Park. Each day of our stay ended at the ball park after visiting other revolutionary war battlefields.
We enjoyed the comfort of this older residence which allowed us enough privacy and access to numerous restaurants and gas stations. The rooms were smaller than average but reasonable for the three of us. I would not recommend this home for any larger or elderly groups.
