The property is poorly kept. It was dirty with spiderwebs all over the house. It had a foul smell. The house was dusty. It had broken furniture and cabinets. The couches had stains. One room had fungus in the ceiling and wall near the bed. The pictures do not represent what the house truly is.

I would like to preface this by saying that I stay in STRs a lot with friends and family. My expectations are not extremely high but I do know what a STR should look like on the inside and outside. The place needs maintenance and updates badly. Oven knobs are cheap, buy them. I sat on a chair AT the dining room table that tried to collapse under me. I was saw that it had been previously broken and repaired with scotch tape. The deck overlooking the pool area is riddled with nails sticking out of the boards. Do not walk barefoot out there. The pool was surprisingly clean and floaties were available but the area hasn’t been cleaned or kept up. The dining table along with 2 loungers at the pool are broken. One of the living room couches is completely broken. It hasn’t been replaced from when someone complained about it months ago. The surround sound was a pain for us to use but by the 2nd night we knew what to do so we could watch tv. The towel bar in the entry bath fell off the wall while we were hanging up a towel. There are holes in the wall and major upkeep that needs to be done. Now the cleanliness,
.walls and baseboards need to be washed. They are just dirty everywhere. A duster on a long pole for the ceilings to get the cobwebs and dead bugs. That was the worst part. The beds were comfortable and the pool felt great. The location and neighborhood were nice and quiet. We enjoyed the view and watching the planes from Spicewood airport all day.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the property was extremely disappointing and not what we expected for the cost we paid.The biggest concern was the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the home. There were a significant amount of bugs, spider webs, and cobwebs throughout the house,especially in the corners of the rooms. This level of buildup does not happen overnight, which leads me to believe it has been quite some time since those areas were properly cleaned.The refrigerator and ice maker was also in poor condition. It had bugs inside and remnants of trash left over from previous guests, which was very unsanitary. In addition, the oven was extremely old and unusable. The paper or markings on it were so faded that we could not determine how to operate it, which made cooking meals impossible. The furniture in the main area was extremely worn down and some living room seating was fulls of stains. Overall, the property did not meet basic cleanliness and functionality standards, and it certainly did not feel worth the price we paid. I wanted to bring this to your attention, as it is not the level of quality we expected when booking through Vrbo.

We had a great weekend, the house was nice, the view was amazing, and the customer service by far was over the top excellent, like every time I asked a question or called they responded instantly, my only suggestions would be to clean the house better and fix the lighting for the pool, we really wanted to night swim and we couldn’t because none of the pool lights worked, but over all we had a blast!

We had a great time swimming and enjoying the views. Our original door code did not unlock the door when we arrived, but we called and they texted us back with a new code. We watched a movie but one of the surroud speakers would not play the voice parts. After some fidgeting my husband discovered a button labeled "2channel" or something like that got it to work. There might have been a toilet paper shortage unless we just didn't find it. Seems like a lot of complaining but these were minor things and only slightly affected our overall experience :)

This property was a total let down. It was poorly light and completely covered in bugs. We go there an the code to unlock the door didn't work. It took forever to get in touch with the manager of the property and get another code to get inside. The couch was broken and the house had bugs everywhere in multiple rooms and in our beds. I reached out to the property manager the asked me to kindly wait until the next day to send someone out. Then there person came on the scene and agreed the property was unfit to stay in. The manager said they don't give refunds. In reporting this house to the local health department and send them multiple pictures and videos. Do not stay at this rental.

My families experience

The house was in a good location. It was dirty cobwebs everywhere and the house was very outdated. Bugs were terrible and we had issues entering location when we got there. Communication with the manager was outstanding very helpful. The pool area was amazing but missing lights when dark. It was ok once we got passed all the bugs.

Overall great stay, but could use updates!

We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed this house for our large family. The location was perfect, and the views were absolutely stunning. The private pool was a big hit—very clean, and we appreciated the fun swim toys that were provided. The large dining table was also a huge plus for shared meals and games.A few things to note: the outdoor patio/pool lights didn’t work, which made evenings outside pretty dark. The house could definitely use some updates and a fresh coat of paint, but the beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The WiFi didn’t work during our stay, and the code we were originally given to access the house was incorrect, though the host responded quickly with the correct one. The half-bath had a non-working toilet, which made things a bit tricky with 10 people. Also, the ice machine took a while to get going.Overall, we really liked the space, especially the pool and views, and with a few fixes, it could be even better!

The property was nice and the house was spacious. However when we arived the spa didn't work, waterfall on pool didnt work, ovens bake option didnt work, and the dishwasher wasnt 100%. All of these added up to the 4 stars.

Our stay for the wedding

The wedding was at spicewood vineyards and we decided to stay overnight from Converse Tx and to also have a place close to sleep after the wedding. The house was exactly what we needed and the location was perfect. The amenities were also perfect. My only complaint was that there were bugs found on the bed and two guests didn’t want to sleep in there. The house was clean but they were just scared of the bugs.

The house of stairs

TONS of stairs making this house not ideal for kids or older people. Or anyone who doesn't want to walk up and down stairs to get to the next room. Pool wasn't working for majority of our stay. We were compensated but still made for a terrible experience. Not near the water and no view of the water. Ideal if you just want to stay at the house and use the pool.

Had a few minor issues with the refrigerator but the property manager was quick to respond. There are some updates needed and pool was not very clean. Overall the house was very spacious and met all of our needs.
