Better than we expected!

We had a great stay. We’ve rented several houses in Western MI over the past 10 years and this one is going to be hard to beat. The cottage was perfect for our 3 generation group. There’s too much to list here. But the highlights are we fished off the private dock, enjoyed the supplied inner tubes, kayaks, and canoe on Smith’s Bayou, spent a couple days at the very nearby North Beach Park, and rented a pontoon to spend a day on Spring Lake. Then most nights we relaxed in the impeccably clean hot tub. The location is perfect. Grand Haven is right there for restaurants but also you can get to Saugatuck, Holland, or Muskegon very conveniently. By the way, I recommend Lombardo’s for pizza and Sprinkes for donuts. The house itself is well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. It’s hard to explain but it doesn’t feel like a rental. The owners Adam and Rachel were nearby and very accommodating with our needs and questions about local activities. We would not hesitate to come back and are planning on it.

Perfect home for our family vacation!

Very clean home! Kitchen as well as bathrooms had all the amenities. Plenty of room for our family of 8 plus an infant. The fenced in backyard is nice with a deck, fire pit and hot tub. Plenty of room to play yard games with the family. We liked the small private beach area across the street. Floats were provided for fun in the sun on the beautiful lake. The private dock for our boat was perfect. We were able to leave the boat in the water for the entire week which made it very convenient for the guys to do some fishing each day. Easy communication with the hosts, Adam and Rachel. They always responded promptly when we reached out to them with a few questions. Highly recommend!

Fantastic lakefront home!

This home, is by far, one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. It has everything and it was pristine clean. My husband and I brought our soon to be 16 year old daughter, and 3 of her friends for the weekend to celebrate her birthday for a weekend in September. The location is in a very nice, safe area/neighborhood. The dock and water access is right across a small street next to a picturesque bridge. Close to Grand Haven. The backyard is fully fenced with lights, a huge hot tub, grill, and a fire pit. The owners have s’mores sticks, floats, toys, kayaks, everything you might need. Speaking of the owners, I had a bunch of random questions about the kayaks/area, etc. Adam was always available to answer everything and offer suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The home
 the primary is downstairs with a full private bath, and separate laundry area. Very nice and private. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, all with queen beds. One room has 2 queens. Everyone slept well. Nice linens and good mattresses. Thick bath towels and huge hot tub/beach towels. Large full bath upstairs. Plenty of space for a group. The upstairs deck overlooks the water and is accessible from its own separate door. Gorgeous updated kitchen with starter things like basic spices, paper towel, grilling tools, lighters,soap, etc. plenty of seating. It is obvious the owners put a lot of thought into this home. We all had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous Home in a Beautiful Area
Can’t Wait to Return!

Highly recommend this beautiful home! It had more to offer than any home we’ve ever rented on VRBO! You have your own private beach on Spring Lake, private backyard, firepit, hot tub, and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen!! It was spotless and we loved the layout for our family! Beds were also extremely comfortable. Excellent communication with Adam & Rachel- very clear and easy check in and check out information. The location is ideal as you are close to Grand Haven and Muskegon with so much to do within the area. We can’t wait to return to this lovely home soon!

Don’t pass this one up!

What a fantastic stay! The home is beautifully decorated, new, and clean. The yard is cute with plenty of room to gather and enjoy. The views of the lake from every room in the house are great and the beach area is very close. Much more space than we anticipated. Hosts were great to work with!

Fantastic house, great location, pretty much perfect

We had a great stay here for a week in August. The house is newly redone - everything completely updated, and house is well equipped. The backyard area is amazing - we spent a lot of time playing the backyard games that are in the shed, used the very nice hot tub, and grilled several nights as well. The location is perfect, only a 5 minute drive to North Beach. The house's beach / dock area is quite nice too - very fun and relaxing to just hang out there. The neighborhood is great - a nice playground about 4 blocks away. Would definitely visit again.

Bayou Beauty

This property is clean abd bright, but on closer examination, it's also a quaint, cozy classic! Recently updated with an artistic and creative flair, this location was in a quiet bayside location with a private beach and secluded, enced backyard complete with fire pit, deck, a and hot tub. Very comfortable!

Wonderful property, the hosts seemed to have thought of everything. They had a birthday ballon for our son, bottle of wine for the adults, all the amenities....every last detail. Great yard, great deck, kayaks, yard games, hot tub, BBQ, etc. We lost a piece of jewelry down the drain and the owner was able to come over within a few hours and retrieve for us. Nothing but wonderful things to say.

Gorgeous house Great location

I love this house! It is in a great location close to everything that you need an a party store just a few steps away. I’ve rented homes before and I must say that this one was so stocked with everything you could possibly need it was absolutely amazing! Even things we would never need! The inside of the home is gorgeous absolutely no real complaints. From the bedding to the towels to everything, it was great. We loved the backyard with the hot tub and the fire pit and all the games that were provided in the shed. At night, my favorite was sitting on the top porch looking at the lake and having my coffee out there every morning what a view! The beach area was really nice and had comfy chairs to sit in. Lots of boats and people on the lake it was fun. The only kinda small complaint I really have is that the chairs at the kitchen table are very uncomfortable so if you wanna sit and play games or cards as an older person, it’s definitely a struggle sitting in those chairs for a long period of time. Having one more TV, possibly in the master bedroom would’ve been nice just so there would’ve been another TV Available as it’s hard to get everybody on the same page to watch something. Other than that, this house is an absolute gem and I definitely recommend This place and hope to come back next year! The hosts were very communicative about everything. I’m horrible with checking messages So I do apologize to them for not getting back to them quicker.

Beautiful Spring Lake Rental

Beautiful home in Spring Lake. The owners knocked it out of the park with the remodel and thought of everything you might need while staying in Spring Lake. Great for families or getting together with friends. Beautiful views of the bayou! As a mom of a toddler I greatly appreciated the fenced in back yard and outdoor games, and my son loved the sand area just across the street. Would highly recommend, and will definitely return next time we visit Spring Lake.

Awesome property!

This newly remodeled home was very clean and has many great features - all new kitchen cookware, soap and cleaner starters for all areas in the house, very close lake access with comfy chairs and even a sunshade you can put up, hot tub, kayaks, lake floats and even an old record player with lots of records to choose from. It is in a very nice neighborhood for walks! We don’t have little ones but there was an awesome playground close by too. Our whole family from grandparents to teenagers enjoyed this place!

My sisters and I stayed here for our annual “Girl Week”. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this house. The host couple took this old home down to the studs and built an incredible place for friends and families to enjoy and make new memories. Every room of this home is well thought out and comfortable. Everything is new except for the floor which they were able to salvage. It’s such a cool place with lots of history. They thought of everything! There is a fire pit in the fully fenced in back yard with wood for purchase (nominal fee), an awesome shed with kayaks, yard games, noodles, tubes, etc., a beautiful new hot tub and a picnic table. The lake is catty corner from the house. The owner created a small beach which includes chairs, a sun shade and a dock. My husband tied our boat to the dock. It’s a great location on Spring Lake. Back to the house
there is a large table with plenty of seating, we used that a lot for our never ending card games. Four nice sized bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Access to the upstairs patio in the pictures is off of the hallway which we liked (didn’t have to go into someone’s room). The patio is really nice. Perfect for early morning coffees. The whole house has great character and detail, I could go on and on. The location is excellent. Easy access to highway 31 which takes you to all of the cities along the west side of Michigan. The bike path is across the street. The path leads to all local towns.
