Disappointing to say the least.

My kids and I were looking forward to this trip for months. I booked this hotel because of the previous positive reviews, so I was incredibly disappointed when we got there and nearly the entire hotel was still under construction, even though I was told it would be completed by the time our stay rolled around. It was quite literally a small wing of rooms and a construction trailer. The cherry on top was the $20 per night parking fee. I feel like the least they could have done was waive that fee because of the conditions of the hotel or even a discounted room rate. If I would have known it was going to be this way I would have booked somewhere else. The room itself was dated, but very clean. Breakfast was grab-n-go in paper sacks, not ideal, but better than nothing.

Undergoing huge refurb. Perhaps 75% of rooms closed. Zero hotel facilities available onsite. Had to use a SpringHill Suites. Not convenient. Not explained in full at booking or prior to arrival. Would never have stayed had the extent of the refurb been made clear.

Desperate need of upgrades

Zion is awesome. You have to see it…. Anyway, so when I booked here, they said there was construction going on but should be done by the time we arrive. Not even close. Lobby was a shipping container. The staff however, are very nice. To me, the most important part of a hotel room is a comfortable bed. This bed may be older than me…. Can feel the springs and is so worn, you can see the indentations without even taking off the comforter. Horrible. Photo attached There’s also no elevator so plan multiple trips getting your stuff up the (very dirty carpet) stairs to your room. We had a larger 1 bedroom with living room. Luckily didn’t need to use the pull out couch bed as it was probably older than the bed. It has a nice little kitchen area but no silverware, no plates, no glasses or cups, no nothing. Every drawer and cabinet was empty. Odd for having a room with a kitchen. After seeing Zion, there are many cool little places to stay. I would not stay here again. Hopefully this part of the “hotel” is next for construction remodel and interior upgrades as it’s badly needed.

The location of this property was its biggest asset at the moment. Most of the property was closed due to construction, but it will be fantastic when it’s finished. The staff is great to work with, room service was great.

If booking 2 beds in one room, AC unit is right next a bed that would make people sleeping in that bed very uncomfortable, farther bed will not get enough AC. Laundry was out of service.

Generally a very nice stay. Room was clean, grab and go breakfast was convenient, and staying on the bus line into the park was amazing! However, the day before our arrival, they let us know the king room we booked was r available and they had rebooked us for a double queen room. Not the end of the world but inconvenient as I much prefer a king room. Then, the room they did give us was right inside the side door. Convenient for coming and going but it meant I was woken up by pretty much every guest that came in or out. This was especially hard as people tended to leave at 6am to catch the first bus into Zion. Overall, would stay here again but maybe request a different room...

This inn is under construction. The registration is in a trailer, which I have never experienced in my over 50 years of travel around the world. Don’t be fooled by the deceptive photos in the website that do NOT reveal its true current conditions. Don’t be also fooled by the high rates. If one expects high quality accommodation by paying over $350 room rates, you will gravely disappointed. This inn, practically a model, is slightly better than one star rated motels. Absolutely fooled by photos in expedia!!! Try others in Springdale.

So glad we chose to stay close for our day at Zion’s National Park. This place was in a great location, and I loved that they gave us breakfast grab bags to go so we could get started early. The beds were comfortable with 2 types of pillows so you can code form or soft. The staff was very friendly.
