I booked two suites here for 6 out of town employees Nov 15-16 and all employees complained about the room being dirty and one guest saw a roach crawling across the bathroom floor. Not pleased at all.

A cozy southern Illinois stay

The staff were pleasant and helped when asked. However, the hotel was a mess, we found multiple dead bugs on the carpet of the room. The metal part of the elevator had not been cleaned in a while. All of the common areas were dirty. The exception is the breakfast area which was quite clean. The food variety was quite good. I would have liked to see more whole food options. Over all it was a good stay.

We requested a transfer to a different room because the first one smelled like mildew. Second Room had a leak in the ceiling that dripped onto the bed and neither room was equipped with bedding for pullout couch. The door to the bathroom in the second room wouldn’t shut all the way bec it was cut incorrectly or something. And the door to the one bedroom made a loud noise when opened or closed bec it did not fit correctly into the doorway. The breakfast buffet has several fruit flies everywhere.

Clean room, Air conditioning, had separate bedroom with 2 queen beds, living area, and kitchen facilities refrigerator, microwave, stove top, dishwasher, dishes & utensils the comfort of home. Great breakfast of variety items. On our last morning at 8:30am while we were still in bed someone tried to get in our room, they knocked used a key, but we had top latch hooked & by the time I got up they were gone. Not sure about who it was that early before our checkout.

Bad experience

Room had a soiled sheet on pull out Sofa. Toliet slow to flush. Changed me to a new room still not clean. The Refrigerator was not clean.
