Very comfortable clean and quaint. The fenced in yard for our dog River was a real plus. A new mattress for the bottom bunk would be nice but all all good.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

This home has numerous issues: Ant infestation, rigged repair on fence gate that I had to perform a temporary repair so our pet wouldn’t escape, hole in the flooring of the laundry area covered with rug, bowls under both sides of kitchen sink to catch dripping water, hole in wall by front door knob, hole in wall by main bedroom door knob, remote controls to tvs didn’t work all the time, screen for remote to the split a/c unit broken. Last but not least is the massive tree next to the house that will eventually fall on the house. have swept the entire unit, including debris on deck, picked up back yard, put all trash in the outside receptacle, and put all linens and towels in the laundry area. The washer has a load of towels I have washed. The back door is fully locked and the a/c is turned up to 78. This has been a horrible experience.

Family Aquarium Trip

Our family of 4 (mom, dad, and 2 toddlers) had the best time staying here on our trip to Springfield. We came to town for the aquarium and found lots of good food and fun. The kids had a blast sleeping on the bunk beds and the house had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Thank you!!

Family visit

The home was very comfortable and welcoming. Very clean and quiet little spot away from noise but close to all the city has to offer. Manager was very friendly and accessable. Went above and beyond to endure our stay was top-notch and stress fres.

MSU visit

This was a great home to stay in while we visited our daughter who attends MSU. We were able to relax and spend quality time with her- playing games, baking cookies, and having a “home-cooked meal.” Being able to bring our fur-babies with was an added bonus! Thank you for your hospitality.

Quick family visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the vacation rental was exactly as described. Nicholas was great to communicate with and they left up the Christmas tree for us to enjoy a late Christmas while visiting our family. The backyard was perfect for our fur babies to exercise. We will return!

The merriest little Christmas!

Traveling for work this year and wanted a place to host my family and pets. It was perfect! Nicholas put the cutest little tree up for our family, kitchen was stocked with plentiful supplies, the beds were so comfortable and there was even a doggie door. If we’re ever looking to stay in the area again, I’d pick this place every time. Thank yall for everything!

Everything we needed for our small family and pooch

Very responsive property management who were easy to get ahold of when we needed to. Basic housewares of things you might need are all there of basic quality. Pack-n-play was nice looking but was too flimsy for our average sized 10 mo old. Lots of little perks like a doggy door and small crate of toys for the littles. Great area of town. Overall a great place to stay with good value.

Great stay in Springfield

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aviary Cottage! The communicated with us on a daily basis. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood close to Mercy Hospital . Everything was extremely clean. The beds were comfy. We had everything we needed to cook family meals. The gas grill outside was a big plus! The property has a fenced in backyard which was nice for our dog. We highly recommend and hope to stay at Aviary Cottage again in the future!

Wonderful 2 day stay

We had a dog and our 3 little boys (7, 3, & 2) with us, and this property was perfect. Our 12 year old dog (who doesnt do well without us at her age) did great in the backyard. The bunk bed was great for the 3 boys. Keep in mind that the rooms are good size, but the bathroom is a little tight for a family our size. But everything was clean and the host was super responsive. We spent the weekend visiting the Bass Pro Shop Aquarium and the Laura Ingles Wilder homestead. We also visited Fantastic Caverns. All close by and we were able to use the house as our home base between visits. Would recommend to anyone spending a couple days in town.

Great stay with my Mom and 2 big dogs!

We loved the house and yard. Nicholas was a great host. Second bedroom is set up for kids moreso than for an adult as the mattress is thin with no box spring so I slept in the queen with my Mom! Thanks for a great stay!

Nice little house

It was a nice house in a quiet neighborhood. All of the rooms had plenty of space except the bathroom. It was very small. Also the hot water heater was quite noisy. But the wifi was excellent!

Great Location and cute house!

This property is conveniently located to all things in Springfield. It is a great quiet, safe neighborhood. The house is well stocked for anything you need. The bathroom is cozy, but everything worked great and slept fine on the beds! Would stay again.

Cozy House, Great Host

Nicholas is a great host, responding quickly during our trip when needs arose. He also accomodated a date change just weeks prior to our trip, finding another one of his properties for us to stay in due to our needing to go to an unexpected memorial service. This is a cozy house with a fenced in back yard. Perfect for family together time and to take our dog along and be able to let him run around freely. Our daughter loved the bunk bed! And there was a playground within walking distance. The location was also convenient for going to the aquarium. Overall great experience! Thanks, Nicholas!

Clean, Quiet, Charming

Great space inside and out. Everything was spotless inside and the back yard is huge, plenty of space for my daughter's dog to run. The place is centrally located, but in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, we had a great visit and would definitely stay again.
