The owner of the property has excellent comms, and provided all the information we needed in a timely and considerate manner. Unfortunately the property was really let down by its cleanliness. It needs a good deep clean too bring it up to standard. Wish I could review differently!
I liked #20 because it was on ground floor. I shared this suite of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen with a friend. We made our own breakfast with cereals and fruit which was just fine. 5 minute walk to the Abbey. The place is an excellent value.
The host was very attentive to my email and greeted me upon arrival and also made sure that if I needed anything he was available which was greatly appreciated
Lovely fella, very helpful. Not a BnB or a pub just a house with rooms. Did me for a night and was cheap, close to town centre. Would I stay again YES probably. Would I bring my bird, No
This is a quaint two bedroom property all on one floor with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom & shower. Barry, the owner, is very helpful & friendly. I would thoroughly recommend it. Itâs not the Ritz but hey how many people stay there!! Central for St Albans & 15 min walk to City Railway station.
Very Basic, just a room in a house, not exactly a hotel, OK for one night stay or long term lodging accommodation. too expensive for the type of room ÂŁ60, over price, would be better @ÂŁ40
Barry gives you a warm welcome to his traditional property with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom. It's about a ten minute walk from this quiet back street to St Alban's Cathedral and the city centre. Very comfortable. Very good wifi and TV in your room. Highly recommended.
