My major complaint was that one day during our stay housekeeping failed to close and lock my room door. We returnef from a day out to find it wide open. Fortunately no one accessed my room but we were lucky. This was inexcusable.

The Algonquin is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are not designed well and we had very little light in the room. With one white bulb in one lamp nightstand and the other a dim yellow it look weird. There were corners of dirt in the bathroom along the shower. Nice hotel, just expected a little more.

The only thing I didn’t like is that I was charge the 25 resort fee when I didn’t do any of the activities, if it’s mandatory to pay it should be included in the price. Other than that it’s beautiful place and the staff are amazing
