It was evident that the majority of travelers these days must be dog owners. The sofa was rather pungent with dog odor and the back door was seriously clawed up on the outside.
We could not get any hot water from the kitchen or lavatory faucets until our last day. Keeping warm was the worst problem for us as senior citizens. No heat cycle on ac units. The portable heater would barely warm one room, so it had to be moved about. It was just too cold in the bathroom to bathe.
The cottage was very cute with a cute outdoor space. We arrived at night and it was a little scary going through the backyard at night without a lot of light. The home was clean but a little musty. It was a bit of a drive to get places but so charming that we would stay there again.
